2 Dec. 2021

Caveat - Picks are in below format

  1. No.1 predicted by Fix
  2. Alternative high-ownership option. Over 20%
  3. Differential option. Under 20%

Mohamed Salah (wol)

Salah was back to scoring ways and with his brace against Everton. He has now notched three goals over the last four gameweeks and only Jota (four) has been more prolific. His Portuguese teammate is the only midfielder who fares better for shots (13 to 12) and 'big chances' (six to five) than the Egyptian King. Liverpool have scored 14 goals over the same period, more than any other side. They are also top for shots on target (SoT) (27) and 'big chances' (16). Their opponents Wolves have been defensively resolute, shipping just two goals in their last four matches. While the Midlands side are ranked sixth for SoT conceded (24) and eighth for 'big chances' conceded (five). Playing a rampant Liverpool side is an entirely different prospect to the opposition Wolves have recently faced, so some of their numbers need to be taken with a pinch of salt. Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 6.4 for Salah.

Raphinha (BRE)

Raphinha has bagged two goals over the last four gameweeks and as the Stats Sandbox image below shows, the Brazilian is top amongst Leeds players for shots (38), SoT (13), chances created (23) and Fantasy Premier League (FPL) points (61) this season. Leeds have scored only three goals over their last four matches but have posted strong underlying numbers. The Whites ony trail Man. City (69), Liverpool (71) and Chelsea (73) for shots (62). Brentford have conceded five goals over the same period, keeping just one clean sheet. Meanwhile, onlu Southampton (19), Newcastle (20), Watford, West Ham (21 each) and Leicester (24) have allowed opponents more SoT than their 18. Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 5.1 for Raphinha.

C. Wilson (BUR)

C. Wilson scored a crucial goal for Newcastle in gameweek 14 and as the numbers from our Match Stats feature below show that the striker is crucial for the Magpies. Over their last five matches, he is top for goals scored (one), expected goals (xG) (1.5) and SoT (three) while only three teammates have created more chances than his four. Newcastle have scored five goals over the last four gameweeks and are ranked 10th for SoT (15). Their opponents Burnley have conceded four goals over the same period and despite playing one game fewer than everyone else, the Clarets are ranked 17th for shots conceded (59), trailing only Man. Utd (60), Newcastle (64) and Leicester (66). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 5.2 for C. Wilson.
