Gameweek 16 - Manager Mindset

GW 15 was terrible, but a Bruno Fernandes haul at least kept it from being a disaster class. I couldn't afford Foden without multiple hits and got burnt badly by it. Guehi and Bruno G. also hit my rank hard. In the end, nearly doubled up to 65k. More importantly, price changes meant I had to make a somewhat rushed set of moves on Saturday. I ended up going Munoz, Enzo, and Anderson for Lacroix, Foden and Stach. The obvious goal here was Foden. Logic is that Lacroix is pretty close to Munoz in potential points while Stach should be a solid cheap MID while Longstaff is hurt (should be a month or so). I also am likely to move on from Mateta and Petrovic, bringing in Sels and Bowen while exhausting all 5 of my ACN moves. That's not ideal, but my team needed surgery and the moves are there for a reason. I won't decide on those additional moves until after the European games midweek.

In retrospect, I think I would have preferred bringing Guiu and Rice instead of Bowen and Stach, but I don't think it's a massive miss. Following this, my team should be pretty well setup with only a couple small tweaks planned until GW20 or so. By then, Gabriel and Palmer may be back in the picture and van Dijk will be kicked to the curb.
