Konsa has risen to £4.5m after a solid showing in Gameweek 3. He started and played the full 90 minutes against Chelsea, picking up four points as Arsenal won 2-1. His next three fixtures look average, though a home game against Leeds in Gameweek 6 stands out as a kind draw for defenders.

Hall

• Ownership: 13.4%
• New price: £5.2m

Hall has been one of the standout defenders of the early season. His 11-point haul away at Spurs in Gameweek 2 was the highlight, and he followed that with four points against Bournemouth in Gameweek 3. He has started all three games and accumulated 18 points overall. Newcastle's next two away fixtures are average, but a home game against Hull in Gameweek 5 looks very appealing.

Ajayi

• Ownership: 12.2%
• New price: £4.2m

Ajayi is the highest-scoring defender in the game so far with 25 points. His 14-point Gameweek 1 performance against Man Utd was exceptional, and he has started every game since. He kept clean sheets in Gameweeks 2 and 3, scoring five points against Aston Villa most recently. At just £4.2m, he remains outstanding value. Hull's next fixture away at Chelsea in Gameweek 4 is a difficult one, but things ease after that.

Elanga

• Club: Newcastle
• Ownership: 11.2%
• New price: £6.2m

Elanga has been electric for Newcastle this season. He scored nine points against Liverpool in Gameweek 1 and followed that with eight points away at Spurs in Gameweek 2. His Gameweek 3 return of just one point against Bournemouth was a blip, and he was substituted before the 80-minute mark in all three matches. Newcastle's home fixture against Hull in Gameweek 5 looks like a great opportunity to bounce back.

FPL Price Fallers 🔻

Brobbey

• Club: Sunderland
• Ownership: 7.1%
• New price: £5.8m

Brobbey has dropped to £5.8m after a disappointing start to the season. He has scored just two points in each of his three appearances, failing to register a goal or assist. He was substituted before the 90-minute mark in Gameweeks 1 and 2. Sunderland face Arsenal away in Gameweek 4, which is a difficult fixture, and then Man City away in Gameweek 5, which is the toughest fixture in the game. It is hard to make a case for him right now.
