Gvardiol is in stunning form and has risen in price this gameweek. He scored 11 points in Gameweek 4, keeping a clean sheet as Man City won 1-0 away at Man Utd. That followed eight points against Coventry City and five against Crystal Palace. He has started all three recent matches and played the full 90 minutes in two of them. His next two fixtures look very easy, making him an attractive option at his price point.
Tarkowski has been one of the standout defenders in the early weeks of the season. He bagged 12 points in Gameweek 2 against Bournemouth, including a clean sheet. He then earned eight points in Gameweek 4 as Everton kept out Spurs. His next two fixtures against Ipswich Town and Hull look very favourable, though a tricky run follows later. He has played every minute of his last three matches and continues to reward those who backed him early.
