FPL Price Risers 🔺

João Pedro

  • Club: Chelsea
  • Ownership: 69.9%
  • New price: £7.7m

João Pedro is the standout name among today's FPL price changes. The Chelsea forward has been in sensational form across the opening two gameweeks, scoring 11 points against Fulham and following that up with 9 points at home to Brighton. That is 20 points in total, making him one of the highest-scoring players in the game so far. His next fixture away at Arsenal is a difficult one, but after that he faces Hull at home, which looks very favourable.

M. Sangaré

  • Club: Brentford
  • Ownership: 12.5%
  • New price: £5.7m

Sangaré has been one of the early-season surprises. The Brentford midfielder racked up an impressive 14 points in Gameweek 1 against Spurs, though he followed that with a quieter 4 points away at Leeds. He comes in at a relatively low ownership for someone with that kind of ceiling. His next fixture at home to Sunderland looks straightforward, giving him a great chance to build on his promising start.

Hall

  • Club: Newcastle
  • Ownership: 7.9%
  • New price: £5.1m

Hall is quietly making a case for himself in FPL. The Newcastle defender earned 11 points away at Spurs in Gameweek 2, bouncing back from a modest 3-point return against Liverpool in the opener. He kept a clean sheet at Spurs and played the full 90 minutes in both matches. His upcoming run of fixtures looks appealing, with home games against Hull and Coventry among the easier assignments on the horizon.

FPL Price Fallers 🔻

Brobbey

  • Club: Sunderland
  • Ownership: 10.4%
  • New price: £5.9m

Brobbey has struggled to make an impact in the opening two gameweeks. He managed just 2 points in both Gameweek 1 against Ipswich Town and Gameweek 2 at home to Fulham, failing to score in either. He was also substituted off in both matches, playing 67 and 64 minutes respectively. A home fixture against Brentford next is rated as average, but a trip to Man City in Gameweek 5 looks very difficult. Patience may be required.

Senesi

  • Club: Spurs
  • Ownership: 6.2%
  • New price: £5.9m

Senesi has had a difficult start to the season. He scored just 3 points in Gameweek 1 as Spurs were beaten 3-0 away at Brentford, and he did not feature at all in Gameweek 2 against Newcastle. With his place in the side uncertain, it is hard to recommend him at this stage despite a reasonable run of upcoming fixtures.

Gyökeres

  • Club: Arsenal
  • Ownership: 5.4%
  • New price: £7.3m

Gyökeres has yet to play a single minute in the Premier League this season. He did not feature in either of Arsenal's opening two gameweeks, raising serious questions about his availability and role. Until he starts getting minutes on the pitch, he is very difficult to trust in FPL. His price has now dropped, reflecting his lack of involvement so far.

Low Ownership Fallers

The following players have also dropped in price today but are owned by fewer than 5% of managers, so are unlikely to affect many teams:

  • Wilson (Leeds) now £6.4m
  • Igor Jesus (Nott'm Forest) now £5.9m
  • Araujo (Liverpool) now £5.4m
  • Sarr (Crystal Palace) now £6.3m
  • Martinelli (Arsenal) now £6.3m
  • Sakamoto (Coventry City) now £4.9m
  • Mingueza (Crystal Palace) now £4.4m
  • Lerma (Crystal Palace) now £4.9m
  • Nørgaard (Everton) now £4.9m
  • Philogene (Ipswich Town) now £5.4m
  • Ogbene (Ipswich Town) now £4.9m
  • Mehmeti (Ipswich Town) now £4.9m
  • Echeverri (Man City) now £4.9m
  • Livramento (Newcastle) now £4.9m
