FPL Price Risers 🔺

Tavernier

  • Club: Bournemouth
  • Ownership: 17.7%
  • New price: £6.4m

Tavernier has risen by two places in price this gameweek, reflecting his outstanding recent form. He scored 10 points in both Gameweeks 7 and 8, helping Bournemouth beat Sunderland at home and then Man Utd away. His next three fixtures are all rated as average difficulty, so there is no standout easy run to shout about, but his form alone makes him compelling.

Bogle

  • Club: Leeds
  • Ownership: 11.1%
  • New price: £4.8m

Bogle earned five points in Gameweek 8 despite Leeds keeping a clean sheet in a goalless draw away at Sunderland. He has started all three recent matches and played the full 90 minutes in each. At just £4.8m, he is a budget-friendly option. Leeds host Tottenham in Gameweek 10, which looks like an easy fixture, making the coming weeks worth monitoring.

FPL Price Fallers 🔻

Gvardiol

  • Club: Man City
  • Ownership: 27.0%
  • New price: £5.7m

Gvardiol is the most-owned player among today's FPL price changes. His price drop will concern many managers. He has struggled for minutes recently, coming off the bench in both Gameweeks 6 and 7 with just 24 and 29 minutes respectively. He did start in Gameweek 8 against Aston Villa but Man City conceded twice and he returned only one point. He faces a difficult fixture away at Arsenal in Gameweek 12, though Gameweek 11 away at Fulham looks like an easy trip.

Ødegaard

  • Club: Arsenal
  • Ownership: 17.8%
  • New price: £6.7m

Ødegaard's price fall will frustrate his many owners. He has started all three recent games but has returned just one, three and three points across Gameweeks 6, 7 and 8. He has not registered a goal or assist in that run. Arsenal face Liverpool in Gameweek 9, which is a difficult test, and then a tricky trip to Man City in Gameweek 12. However, Gameweek 10 at home to Hull looks like an easy opportunity for him to rediscover his best form.

Wissa

  • Club: Newcastle
  • Ownership: 11.6%
  • New price: £6.0m

Wissa's minutes have dried up at a concerning rate. He started in Gameweeks 6 and 7 but played only 13 minutes as a substitute in Gameweek 8 against Crystal Palace. That lack of game time has contributed to his price fall. His next three fixtures are all rated as average difficulty, and Gameweeks 11, 12 and 13 bring difficult tests against Arsenal, Brighton and Man Utd. Managers will want clarity on his role before investing.

O'Reilly

  • Club: Man City
  • Ownership: 8.6%
  • New price: £6.2m

O'Reilly did not feature at all in Gameweek 8 against Aston Villa, having played 66 and 61 minutes in the two games prior. His absence from the squad is a concern. He scored five points in Gameweek 6 against Liverpool, but his inconsistent minutes make him a risky hold. Like Gvardiol, he faces a difficult away fixture at Arsenal in Gameweek 12, though Gameweek 11 at home to Fulham is an easier prospect.

Lammens

  • Club: Man Utd
  • Ownership: 8.1%
  • New price: £4.8m

Lammens has kept his place in goal for Man Utd across all three recent gameweeks but has struggled to return clean sheet points. Man Utd conceded against Spurs, Leeds and Bournemouth in that run. He earned just two, three and one points respectively. Gameweek 9 away at Chelsea and Gameweek 11 away at Liverpool are both difficult fixtures on the horizon.

Low Ownership Fallers

These players have also dropped in price today but are owned by fewer than five per cent of managers, so are unlikely to affect many squads.

  • Scott (Bournemouth) drops to £5.9m
  • Meunier (Sunderland) drops to £4.4m
  • Graham (Everton) drops to £4.4m
