FPL Managers Make Their Moves
With Double Gameweek 36 approaching, top managers are moving quickly to target players with stronger fixtures, higher ceilings and better short-term upside.
Across FPL, the most-bought players this Gameweek include several Double Gameweek options, with Cherki, Haaland, O’Reilly and Doku all among the top transfers in. Palace assets are also attracting interest, with Sarr and Mateta both highly bought ahead of Everton (H) and Man City (A).
These are the top 10 transfer combinations among top managers for Gameweek 36, taken from the Transfer Analytics tool:

Bukayo Saka: The Premium Arsenal Route
Bukayo Saka (£9.9m) made an immediate impact on his return from injury, delivering 12 points in just 54 minutes against Fulham in Gameweek 35.
In that short cameo, he scored once, provided one assist and created two 'big chances', underlining his explosive potential whenever he is on the pitch.
The wider FPL community clearly agrees, with over 193,000 managers bringing him in ahead of Gameweek 36.
Arsenal’s next three fixtures are West Ham (A), Burnley (H) and Crystal Palace (A). His projected points are steady rather than spectacular, largely due to the risk of reduced minutes, but his goal threat, creativity and set-piece involvement still make him an appealing route into the Arsenal attack as they look to secure the Premier League title.
Cole Palmer: A Difficult Sell Despite Underlying Promise
Cole Palmer (£10.4m) has endured a frustrating spell, blanking across his last three matches.
He has managed just two FPL points in that period, with a missed penalty against Forest doing little to persuade managers to keep faith.

With Liverpool (A) up next, it is easy to see why many are moving him on. As shown in the Transfer Analytics tool, Palmer is the third most-sold player across FPL this Gameweek, with over 184,000 transfers out.
Rayan Cherki: The Breakout Double Gameweek Option
Rayan Cherki (£6.6m) has become one of the standout transfer targets for Gameweek 36. He is currently the most-bought player across FPL, with over 327,000 transfers in.

As highlighted on the Fantasy Football Fix X page, the Man City midfielder has delivered 34 points across his last six fixtures, scoring once and providing four assists.
He also offers plenty of creative threat, having created four 'big chances', while his involvement at set pieces adds another route to points.
The big appeal is the Double Gameweek. Man City face Brentford (H) and Crystal Palace (H), with Cherki projected to score 8.5 points in Gameweek 36.
He could also offer an alternative captaincy route to Haaland for managers willing to take a gamble and chase rank, as discussed in our Top 3 Captaincy article.
Antoine Semenyo: Managers Losing Patience
Semenyo (£8.1m) is one of the most-sold players this Gameweek, with over 177,000 transfers out.
He has struggled recently, producing just seven points from 228 minutes across his last three fixtures, with no goals or assists. His underlying numbers have also been underwhelming, with limited goal threat and only one ‘big chance’ created.
Like Cherki, he has Brentford (H) and Crystal Palace (H) in Gameweek 36, but given Cherki’s recent output, it is easy to understand why FPL managers are making the switch.
Viktor Gyökeres: The Efficient Forward Pick
Viktor Gyökeres (£8.9m) is another popular transfer target, with over 232,000 managers bringing him in ahead of Gameweek 36.

He produced his biggest haul of the season in Gameweek 35, scoring twice, supplying one assist and picking up maximum bonus against Fulham.
Arsenal’s next three fixtures are West Ham (A), Burnley (H) and Crystal Palace (A). Havertz is now back from injury, which could impact Gyökeres’ minutes, but if he keeps his place for the majority of the run-in, he has the potential to reward his new owners with another haul.
João Pedro: Fixture Concerns
João Pedro (£7.5m) is among the biggest fallers across FPL this Gameweek, with almost 199,000 transfers out.
He did score late on against Forest in Gameweek 35, but Chelsea had failed to score in their previous five matches before that, which does little to fill FPL managers with confidence in their attacking assets.
With Liverpool (A) up next, many managers are choosing to move him on for forwards with stronger short-term potential.
His following fixtures against Tottenham (H) and Sunderland (A) are more appealing, but it looks like most managers do not have the patience to wait and see if Chelsea can turn a corner.
Erling Haaland: The Premium Double Gameweek Captain
Erling Haaland (£14.6m) is firmly back on the transfer radar, with more than 237,000 managers bringing him in ahead of Gameweek 36, making him the second most popular as shown in the Transfer Analytics tool.

The appeal is obvious. Haaland has scored three goals in his last three matches, returning 20 FPL points in that spell.
He also looks like the standout captaincy option for Double Gameweek 36, with Man City facing Brentford (H) and Crystal Palace (H). The Captain Reveal tool is projecting him to be heavily backed with the armband, meaning managers who go against him will be taking a brave gamble.
Haaland is projected to score 12.0 points in Gameweek 36, before fixtures against Bournemouth and Aston Villa.
With penalties, secure minutes and huge haul potential, Haaland looks like the premium forward many top managers are prioritising.
Jarrod Bowen: Tough Fixture Run Sparks Sales
Jarrod Bowen (£7.8m) has not been a poor pick recently, producing 14 points from 267 minutes with two assists and three 'big chances' created.
However, the fixtures are the issue. West Ham face Arsenal (H), Newcastle (A) and Leeds (H) over the next three Gameweeks, which makes Bowen easier to sell when managers are trying to fund Haaland.
He is also one of the most-transferred-out players across FPL this week, with over 182,000 sales.
The second Haaland move sees managers upgrading from João Pedro to the Man City striker.
This is a clear Double Gameweek play. João Pedro has Liverpool (A), while Haaland faces Brentford (H) and Crystal Palace (H), making it a no-brainer for those who do not already own the Norwegian forward.
That gives Haaland the stronger fixtures, the higher ceiling and the more obvious captaincy appeal.
For managers with the funds available, this move is less about João Pedro being a terrible option and more about attacking the best premium fixture combination of the Gameweek.
