No side has scored more goals over the last weeks than Man. City (10) and their players' underlying numbers are analysed using the Stats Sandbox feature. 

In terms of attacking numbers, Torres leads the way for shots (nine), 'big chances' (three) and expected goals (xG) (1.65). Sterling tops the table for shots on target (four) which is impressive considering his limited minutes. Laporte's seven shots in the box also stand out, only Duffy (eight) has taken more amongst defenders this season. 

In terms of creativity, Grealish comes out on top for attempted assists (nine) but it is worth mentioning only one of these was a 'big chance'. Jesus is reveling in his new wing role and no Man. City player has created more 'big chances' than the Brazilian. 

Man. City have allowed opponents just seven shots in the box over their first three matches, the fewest in the league. The next best team are Man. Utd, who have allowed opponents more than double that (16). The reigning Champions have begun the campaign where they left off and investment in both their defence and attack seems like a wise move.
