Erling Haaland (avl)

Haaland has broken all records with nine goals in his first five games and the Norwegian international is top amongst forwards for goals (nine), shots (22), shots in the box (SiB) (21), 'big chances' (13) and shots on target (SoT) (12). It helps that he plays for a side that are also top of the attacking statistics - goals scored (19), SoT (33) and 'big chances' (24). Their hosts Villa are under pressure after yet another defeat and are yet to keep a clean sheet this season. They have conceded nine goals with only Leicester (10), Forest (11) and Bournemouth (16) being more porous. Only Brentford (29), Bournemouth (30) and Forest have allowed opponents more SoT (26) than Villa. Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 6.6 for Haaland.
