Salah has found the back of the net twice this season, only Zaha (three) and Rodrigo (four) have been more prolific amongst midfielders. As the Stats Sandbox image below shows, the Egyptian international is top amongst Liverpool players for shots in the box (SiB) (seven) while no midfielder has created more chances (13). Liverpool have scored just four goals this season but the underlying numbers are promising. The Merseyside outfit are top for SiB (40) and fourth for 'big chances' (eight). Bournemouth have conceded seven goals this season and only Leicester (eight) have been more porous. Meanwhile, Forest (61) are the only team who have allowed opponents more shots than the Cherries (48). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 8.1 for Salah.
De Bruyne has started the season strong, only Gordon, Rashford, Maddison (10 each) and Rodrigo (13) have attempted more shots amongst midfielders than the Belgian international (nine). City are joint-top for goals scored (nine) and top for both shots (54) and 'big chances' (13). Their visitors Palace have conceded just four goals in their three matches but are yet to keep a clean sheet. Only Bournemouth (48) and Forest (61) have allowed opponents more shots than the Eagles (47). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 6.6 for De Bruyne.
Jesus is enjoying life at Arsenal with two goals and three assists in his first three matches and only Mitrovic (14) has taken more SiB amongst forwards than the Brazilian international (10). Toney and Kane (seven each) are the only two players to have created more chances than his five while he is also joint-top for 'big chances' created (two). One of the first names on the team sheet, he is rated at 98% to start as per our Predicted Lineups feature. Arsenal are joint-top for goals scored (nine) and are ranked third for both SiB (34) and 'big chances' (10). Their visitors Fulham have conceded just four goals in the first three matches but the fact that they are ranked 17th for 'big chances' conceded (nine) bodes well for Jesus' prospects.
