Mohamed Salah (EVE)

Salah got back to scoring ways with a brace in gameweek 33 and no midfielder has taken more shots (24) than the Egyptian over the past six gameweeks. Only Havertz and Son (seven each) have been afforded more ‘big chances’ amongst midfielders than Salah (four). He has also racked up two assists with only Kulusevksi (five) creating more ‘big chances’ (three). Liverpool have scored 13 goals over the last six gameweeks, only Brentford (14), Chelsea (17) and Spurs (21) have found the back of the net more often. The Merseyside outfit are ranked fourth for ‘big chances’ (15) and fifth for shots in the box (SiB) (60). Their derby opponents Everton have conceded 12 goals over the same period keeping just two clean sheets. Only Leicester (35), Norwich (36) and Southampton (40) have conceded more SoT than the Toffees (32). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 8.6 for Salah.

Kai Havertz (WHU, mun)

Havertz should be restored to the starting lineup after his benching midweek and the German has racked up five goals over the last six gameweeks, a total only Son (seven) can better amongst midfielders. He is also top for both 'big chances' (seven) and shots on target (SoT) (11) as the Stats Sandbox image below shows. Chelsea have scored 17 goals over the same period, only Spurs have been more prolific (21). No side has landed more SoT than the Blues (39). Their visitors West Ham have conceded nine goals over the last six gameweeks, keeping no clean sheets. They are ranked 14th for shots conceded (89) and 11th for 'big chances' conceded (11). The trip to Man. United looks promising given their recent defensive struggles, the Red Devils have conceded 14 goals over the last six gameweeks keeping no clean sheets. Only Watford and Southampton (15 each) have been more leaky at the back. Only Brighton (16) and Southampton (23) have allowed opponents more 'big chances than Man. United (15). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 8.5 for Havertz.

Mason Mount (WHU, mun)

Mount has benefited from Chelsea’s change in system with three goals in the last six gameweeks, only De Bruyne (four), Havertz (five) and Son (seven) have been more prolific amongst midfielders. His total of seven SoT is only bettered by Coutinho, Salah (eight each), De Bruyne, Son (nine each) and Havertz (11). He has also racked up three assists with only Mbeumo (four) and Kulusevski (six) managing more. No midfielder has created more ‘big chances’ (three) over the aforementioned period. Our Predicted Lineups feature has him at 100% to start which is the highest in the Chelsea team. The Blues have scored 66 goals this season with only Man. City (75) and Liverpool (83) faring better. They are ranked third for SoT (169) and fourth for ‘big chances’ (79). Their first opponents West Ham have conceded 43 goals in 33 matches this season, keeping just seven clean sheets. The Hammers are ranked 15th for SiB conceded (296) over the season. Their second opponents Man. United have had poor defensive numbers as well conceding 48 goals with just seven clean sheets. The Red Devils are ranked 16th for SoT conceded (155) over the season. Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 8.4 for Mount.
