The 2026/27 Fantasy Premier League season is expected to launch soon, making player prices one of the biggest talking points ahead of Gameweek 1.
To get ahead of the competition, we asked three members of our Elite XI: Team Reveal to predict the starting prices of some of the most interesting players for the new season. With Walter Randazzo (7 top 10k finishes), Mark Mansfield (7 top 10k finishes) and Corey Baker (5 top 10k finishes), their predictions are well worth considering.
You can also access our Predicted Player Prices tool in the Preseason Pack, where the Fantasy Football Fix Algorithm achieved 97.7% accuracy in predicting last season's player prices. Use those projections to build and compare up to five Gameweek 1 drafts with the GW1 Squad Planner before the game launches.
From Erling Haaland's potential record-breaking price to Cole Palmer's possible drop and Bruno Fernandes' expected rise, there are plenty of big pricing decisions for FPL to make.
Haaland finished the season as both the Premier League’s top goalscorer and the highest-scoring player in FPL.
Haaland’s FPL price history:
— Fantasy Football Fix (@FantasyFootyFix) June 10, 2026
2022/23: £11.5m
2023/24: £14.0m
2024/25: £15.0m
2025/26: £14.0m
2026/27: £??.?m

The Man City forward scored 27 goals and ended the campaign on 239 FPL points, so another premium price tag looks inevitable. The question is whether FPL go as high as £15.0m again.
Walter Randazzo thinks a small rise is possible, although he would not be surprised if FPL kept him close to last season’s price.
“He's had a solid season overall, he might start at £14.0m to be honest but I wouldn't be surprised if there's a hike.”
Corey Baker also expects Haaland to be priced at £14.5m.
“The big Norwegian rebounded quite a bit this season but below the heights of his first two seasons. Suspect he rises to £14.5m to reflect the rebound in his numbers.”
Mark Mansfield believes FPL should go even higher.
“He needs to be at least £15.0m unless some other superstar comes to the Premier League - and I'm talking Mbappe-at-Arsenal type stuff. He hit that last season and I think that's an appropriate start point.”
Elite XI predictions: Walter £14.5m, Corey £14.5m, Mark £15.0m
Algorithm prediction: £14.0m
Fernandes was the highest-scoring midfielder in FPL last season, finishing on 235 points.
He also broke the Premier League assists record, while registering 24 FPL assists and a huge 136 attempted assists. With Salah leaving and several other premium assets coming off quieter seasons, his price could be one of the most interesting calls FPL have to make.

The Fix Algorithm is also projecting a significant price increase for Fernandes. You can view his predicted price, alongside projections for every other player, using the Predicted Player Prices tool in the Preseason Pack.
Walter expects a major increase.
“With all his routes to points and being back in an attacking role since Amorim was sacked, his price will surely be higher. Also Salah leaving and other "big guns" coming off a disappointing season will be a factor. I thought about £11.5m but maybe £12.0m is more likely.”
Corey also expects a rise, but thinks £12.0m may be too high.
“Bruno Fernandes had his best season since 2020/21 which resulted in him priced at £12.0m the following season. I don’t expect we will see him that high so predicting £10.5m with £11.0m a possibility.”
Mark thinks the wider premium-player landscape could play a role.
“They might put him at £11.0m and that may be a little overpriced. Again, with Salah gone if there's a lack of captainable premiums then his price needs to be high for the games sake.”
Elite XI predictions: Walter £12.0m, Corey £10.5m, Mark £11.0m
Algorithm prediction: £10.5m
Gabriel finished as the highest-scoring defender in FPL with 209 points.
The Arsenal centre-back combines clean-sheet potential, attacking threat and strong minutes, making him one of the easier defensive price rises to predict.

The Fixture Planner, filtered by defensive difficulty, ranks Arsenal sixth for the opening six Gameweeks. Their schedule includes attractive home matches against Coventry City in Gameweek 1 and Leeds United in Gameweek 6, strengthening Gabriel’s early-season appeal despite a more difficult trip to Brighton in Gameweek 5.
Walter believes he is now the best defender in the game.
“Best defender in the game right now, £7.0m would probably be too low and £8.0m a bit too high so £7.5m feels right.”
Corey also expects him to be the top-priced defender.
“Will easily be the most expensive defender as he combines elite clean sheet, attacking threat, and minutes projection with adequate defensive contributions.”
Mark puts Gabriel in the same bracket as previous premium defenders.
“We have had defenders at £7.0m before and he's in that class now. Same as Haaland and Bruno I'd like to see him overpriced.”
Elite XI predictions: Walter £7.5m, Corey £7.5m, Mark £7.0m+
Algorithm prediction: £7.5m
Semenyo was one of the standout performers of the season, finishing on 202 FPL points after scoring 17 goals.

⚽ 17 goals
📊 12.4 xG
That came after scoring just 11 goals from 15 xG last season.

His move from Bournemouth to Man City adds another layer to his price prediction. A strong season alone would have brought a major rise, but playing for a bigger club could push him even higher.
Walter expects a significant jump.
“Another significant hike after the season he's just had, he was great both at Bournemouth and Man City (and selling him late in the season was a big mistake for me, sigh).”
Corey is slightly more cautious.
“A sizeable jump in goals scored but his points per match (PPM) was under 5.5; as a result don’t expect him to jump like Foden did two seasons ago (Foden’s PPM was 7.0). £8.5m seems about right here.”
Mark thinks the move to Man City changes the equation.
“He was obviously a Pep favourite but the equation changes now. I'll predict a starting price of £9.0m.”
Elite XI predictions: Walter £9.5m, Corey £8.5m, Mark £9.0m
Algorithm prediction: £9.0m
Palmer is one of the hardest players to price.
After back-to-back underwhelming seasons, a drop looks likely. But with penalties and set pieces still in his locker, he could quickly become interesting again if FPL price him low enough.
Walter expects a decrease.
“Disappointing season so he should drop in price, we will see if he can bounce back under Alonso, also penalties and set pieces still in his locker.”
Corey thinks FPL may be reluctant to cut his price too dramatically.
“Difficult to judge. He was truly awful last season, but prices usually don’t drop massively after one bad season. Suspect he lands at £9.0m making for difficult decisions come August.”
Mark also sees £9.0m as a possible price point.
“Two underwhelming seasons; we could be looking at £9.0m. If fresh and fit that would become interesting again at that price.”
Elite XI predictions: Walter £9.5m, Corey £9.0m, Mark £9.0m
Algorithm prediction: £9.0m
Thiago enjoyed a superb campaign, scoring 22 goals and finishing as the second-highest goalscorer in the league.
That kind of season almost guarantees a price rise, but the question is whether FPL go as high as £8.0m.
Walter thinks his breakout season deserves a decent increase.
“A decent price rise feels right with him consolidating himself as a solid midtable talismanic striker after his breakout season.”
Corey sees comparisons with a previous Bournemouth forward.
“Very similar numbers to Solanke’s last season with Bournemouth which saw him go to £7.5m. Difference here is Thiago didn’t have several seasons of average or worse performance suppressing his salary. Accordingly, going £0.5m more.”
Mark is a little more cautious.
“For me £7.5m is fine for Thiago. It's hard to see him or Brentford replicate last season. I won't be surprised if he's not even in the Premier League come August if he can bag a few in the World Cup.”
Elite XI predictions: Walter £8.0m, Corey £8.0m, Mark £7.5m
Algorithm prediction: £8.0m
Anderson was one of the biggest winners from defensive contributions, which reward players for defensive actions such as clearances, blocks, interceptions and tackles.
He picked up 50 extra FPL points from defensive contributions last season, the most of any player in the game. With a big summer move also being talked about, his price could be fascinating.

The Fix Algorithm’s projection shows how Anderson’s defensive contribution points and potential summer transfer could affect his starting price. You can see predicted prices for every player using the Predicted Player Prices tool in the Preseason Pack.
Walter expects that defensive contribution value to be reflected in his new price.
“One of the main beneficiaries of defensive contributions so his new price should reflect that, although remains to be seen if anything will change after his likely move elsewhere (Man City?).”
Corey says he is difficult to price because of how much of his value came from defensive contributions.
“Difficult to guess given we don’t know how FPL will rate players largely dependent upon defensive contributions.”
Mark expects a rise, but not too extreme.
“I think £7.5m is where he will land. He can defcon all he likes, and will get a hike if he moves to City, but he's not the type of midfielder that should be priced at £8.0m or above. I'd see him as similar to Rice in that respect.”
Elite XI predictions: Walter £7.0m, Corey £7.0m, Mark £7.5m
Algorithm prediction: £7.0m
Senesi was the top defender for defensive contribution points last season, earning 48 extra FPL points through that route.

Now playing for Spurs after signing on a free, he could become a fascinating FPL option if De Zerbi can transform their defence. The question is whether his move makes him a better pick, or pushes his price into awkward territory.
Walter is unsure whether the move makes him more or less appealing.
“Defcon king with a decent knack for attacking returns, he'll now join a Spurs team which is still a work in progress under De Zerbi. Will that make him a better or a worse pick?”
Corey expects his move to Spurs to be factored into his price.
“Already found new team so his new location will have to be factored in. I expect FPL will predict a Spurs rebound but wouldn’t expect a bonus for him now being in North London. Think £5.0m makes sense.”
Mark thinks the final price depends on where he ends up.
“Depending on where he ends up he will be £5.0m or £5.5m.”
Elite XI predictions: Walter £5.5m, Corey £5.0m, Mark £5.0m–£5.5m
Algorithm prediction: £5.5m
Kroupi Jr started the season at just £4.5m, but after scoring 13 goals, he is unlikely to remain anywhere near that price.
With several clubs linked and a possible position change also mentioned by Corey, he could be one of the hardest players for FPL to price.
Walter called him the bargain of the season.
“The bargain of the season having started at £4.5m, after 13 goals and likely on penalties. Maybe even £7.0m would not be unreasonable.”
Corey thinks he may be the toughest prediction of the lot.
“Most difficult one to predict as we have virtually no baseline and he is almost certainly changing positions to midfield. His per minute numbers were great but he started just 21 times making a prediction even more challenging. Interestingly had similar PPM to Kluivert two seasons before. Kluivert landed at £7.0m. Suspect Kroupi will be same.”
Mark is also excited by his potential.
“Surely a starter now and if so I'd have him at £7.5m. Such a great prospect. I imagine people will be hesitant at that price but could quickly get on board if he scores a few early.”
Elite XI predictions: Walter £6.5m, Corey £7.0m, Mark £7.5m
Algorithm prediction: £7.5m
The 2026/27 FPL price reveals will tell us a lot about how the game is likely to be shaped.
Haaland may once again sit at the top of the pricing structure, Bruno Fernandes could return to premium-midfielder territory, and Gabriel looks set to be the most expensive defender in the game. The way FPL prices defensive contributions will also be fascinating, with players such as Elliot Anderson and Marcos Senesi potentially offering an early indication of how valuable the scoring system will be in 2026/27.
