Cristiano Ronaldo (avl, bre)

Ronaldo has found the back of the net twice over the last six gameweeks, only Kane (three) has fared better amongst forwards. The Portugal international trails only Edouard and Kane (each 18) for shots (14) while only Lacazette (six) and Edouard (seven) have been afforded more 'big chances' than his five. Man. Utd have scored five goals over the last six gameweeks and are ranked 10th for shots (53) and eighth for 'big chances' (nine). Their first opponents Villa have conceded six goals over the same period keeping just one clean sheet. The Birmingham side conceded nine 'big chances' over those matches with only seven teams more generous. Brentford have conceded nine goals over the last six gameweeks with only Newcastle (12), Norwich (13) and Leeds (15) conceding more. Spurs have scored seven goals over the last six gameweeks and are ranked fourth for both SoT (31) and 'big chances' (16). Their North London visitors Arsenal have been in fine form over the aforementioned period conceding just three goals. They are ranked fourth for both shots conceded (46) and 'big chances' conceded (five). Their hosts for the second match of the double gameweek, Leicester have conceded six goals in as many gameweeks. King has failed to find the back of the net recently but as the numbers from our Match Stats feature shows, over the last five gameweeks he is top amongst Watford players for 'Expected Goals' (xG) (0.7), assists (one) and chances created (three) with only Dennis (four) landing more SoT than his three. The Hornets have scored just two goals over the last six gameweeks but have played just thrice due to postponements, which sees them ranked 20th for shots (26). Their first opponents Newcastle have shipped 12 goals over the last six gameweeks with only Norwich (13) and Leeds (15) faring worse. No team has allowed opponents more 'big chances' (16) than the Magpies. Burnley have conceded six goals in as many gameweeks and are ranked 12th for shots conceded (56).
