Defence

With a high projected probability of a clean sheet for Chelsea, Man. City and Man. Utd, the Algorithm XI goes big at the back with five premium defenders Cancelo, Dias, R. James, Alonso and Alexander-Arnold making the cut. Alexander-Arnold (15), R. James (12) and Alonso (seven) are in the top-four for chances created amongst defenders over the last six gameweeks while Cancelo is top for shots on target (SoT) (five).

De Gea also features against a Burnley side that have scored just six goals on the road this season, the third fewest in the league.

Midfield

Salah (19) and Jota (18) are the top two midfielders in terms of shots over the last six gameweeks and also for 'big chances' (seven and six).

As the above image from our Match Stats feature shows, Gallagher is top amongst Palace players for goals (three), SoT (three) and attempted assists (nine) over their last five matches. He is likely to be amongst the points against a Norwich side that has conceded 12 goals over the last six gameweeks.

Forwards

Ronaldo is a popular captain pick this week amongst our Elite XI and he is also currently the highest projected scorer as per our Fix Algorithm.

Antonio also makes the XI after his benching in gameweek 19. As the Stats Sandbox image below shows, Ronaldo (48) and Antonio (47) are the top two forwards for shots this season.
