There were 2 price changes in the Fantasy Premier League overnight, with no players rising in value but two falling.
The Chelsea forward has dropped £0.1m following a disappointing run of form that has seen his ownership plummet to 42.4%. João Pedro now costs £7.5m after struggling for game time and points in recent fixtures.
His last three outings tell a concerning story for Fantasy managers. Against Manchester City at home, he managed just 2 points despite playing 81 minutes in a 3-0 defeat. More worryingly, he was benched for both the 1-0 home loss to Manchester United and the 3-0 away defeat to Brighton, failing to register any minutes in the latter fixture.
João Pedro's upcoming fixtures present a mixed bag. Chelsea face Nottingham Forest (H) in Gameweek 35, followed by Liverpool (A), Tottenham (H), and Sunderland (A). The Forest fixture offers potential for returns, but the Liverpool away trip looks particularly challenging.
With 133 points for the season, João Pedro has been a solid performer overall, but his recent lack of starts under the current Chelsea setup makes him a risky proposition at this stage of the campaign.
Xavi (Spurs midfielder) has also fallen to £6.5m, though with just 2.3% ownership, this change affects very few managers.
