Top Five Key Players for Fantasy Premier League 2025/26 Gameweek 34

FPL Headliner: Bruno Fernandes (BRE)

Bruno Fernandes’ assist against Chelsea was his seventh in the last six Gameweeks, more than any other player in that period. The Portuguese international also ranks top for attempted assists (31), ‘big chances’ created (eight), and 'Expected Assists' (xA) (3.34).

As the image below from our Fix Heatmaps feature shows, he has also averaged 6.8 FPL points per game in home matches this season.

Man United have scored 10 goals over the last six Gameweeks, only Forest, Everton (11 each), Brighton and Liverpool (12 each) have been more prolific. The Red Devils are ranked seventh for shots (88) and 13th for xG (9.11).

Their visitors Brentford have conceded seven goals over the same period (ninth) and have kept three clean sheets. The Bees are ranked 13th for shots conceded (78) and fifth for 'Expected Goals Conceded' (xGC) (7.32).

According to our Predicted Points & Stats tool, B.Fernandes is projected to score 6.1 points this Gameweek.

Top FPL Forward: Ollie Watkins (ful)

Watkins has been on fire for Villa, scoring six goals in their last five matches in all competitions. Over the last six Gameweeks, the 30-year-old ranks second among forwards for ‘big chances’ (seven) and fourth for xG (3.59).

Villa have scored nine goals over the last six Gameweeks, the sixth-most in the league. They also rank top for ‘big chances’ (21) and fourth for xG (11.63) over that spell.

Fulham, meanwhile, have conceded just five goals in the same period, but have managed only two clean sheets. The Cottagers rank seventh for shots conceded (73) and 10th for xGC (8.71).

Top Midfield Differential: Cody Gakpo (CPL)

The injury to Ekitike has increased Gakpo’s minutes, with Isak often being substituted before the Dutchman. Over the last six Gameweeks, no midfielder has attempted more shots (22) or more shots in the box (15).

As the image below from our Match Centre feature shows, across Liverpool’s last five league matches, he ranks top among their players for shots on target (six) and FPL assists (two). He is also second for xG (1.6) and third for attempted assists (eight).

Liverpool have scored 12 goals over the last six Gameweeks (first), the Merseyside outfit are ranked top for shots (99) and fifth for xG (11.50).

Their visitors Palace have conceded four goals over the same period (second) but have kept just two clean sheets. The Eagles are ranked third for both shots conceded (58) and xGC (6.85).

Best Forward Pick: Jarrod Bowen (EVE)

Bowen bagged a 14-pointer in his last home game for West Ham and the England international will be key to the Hammers survival hopes over the run in.

As shown in the image below from our Opta Stats Sandbox, he has contributed six FPL assists over the last six Gameweeks and is top amongst forwards for attempted assists (13), 'big chances' created (six) and xA (2.95).

West Ham have scored eight goals over the last six Gameweeks (eighth), the Hammers are ranked 17th for shots (57) and 15th for xG (7.92).

Their visitors Everton have conceded eight goals over the same period (11th) and have kept two clean sheets. The Toffees are ranked 17th for shots conceded (90) and ninth for xGC (8.44).

Top Defensive Asset: Gabriel Magalhães (NEW)

Arsenal will be looking to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat to Man City when they host a struggling Newcastle side at the Emirates. Among defenders, only O’Reilly (100) and J. Timber (89) have earned more points in home matches than Gabriel (86) this season.

Gabriel has also been afforded six ‘big chances’, the seventh-most among defenders, and has registered 2.77 xG, which ranks ninth.

Arsenal have conceded five goals over the last six Gameweeks, the fourth-fewest in the league, and have kept two clean sheets. The Gunners rank second for shots in the box conceded (35) and sixth for xGC (7.51).

Newcastle, meanwhile, have scored eight goals over the same period, the eighth-most in the league. The Magpies rank 11th for shots (71) and 12th for xG (9.15).
