The first international break is behind us, and with the summer transfer window now closed, Fantasy Premier League squads are starting to settle after the chaos of the opening three Gameweeks.
In this blog, we highlight the teams with the best fixture runs over the next six Gameweeks, using Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR).
This analysis will help FPL managers plan their defensive and attacking transfers more effectively and identify the best opportunities to target in Gameweek 4 and beyond.
The next six Gameweeks of the 2025/26 season could be an interesting time for FPL managers with plenty of differentials on offer.
Newcastle are the only team from last season's top six to have an attractive fixture schedule over the short term, with Chelsea and Villa in seventh and eighth.
Wolves play all three promoted sides over the next six Gameweeks with two of them at home. No player from the Midlands side is owned by more than 3% of FPL managers, which offers plenty of opportunity for differentials.
Strand Larsen's fitness needs to be monitored. But as the below image from our Stats Sandbox feature shows, the Norwegian international leads the team for shots in the box (five) despite playing just 160 minutes.
Leeds have scored just one goal so far and also have no asset over 5% owned. However, Stach is in the top three midfielders overall for chances created (10).
As the Stats Sandbox image below shows, Bournemouth are ranked fourth for 'Expected Goals' (xG) (5.19) while only Chelsea (12) have created more 'big chances' than their eight.
Haaland leads the way with six big chances created in the opening three Gameweeks, just ahead of Semenyo on five. Amongst forwards, Evanilson also stands out, ranking fourth for shots in the box with seven.
Spurs have four away fixtures in their next six, but they still provide appealing Fantasy Premier League options. Richarlison ranks second among forwards for shots in the box (eight), while Kudus leads the way as their main creator with seven attempted assists.
Simons could also be one to watch—his role in the team is still uncertain, but Elite XI manager Philman, with nine top 10k finishes, has already included him in his latest FPL Wildcard draft.
Burnley’s upcoming run includes tough fixtures against Liverpool, Manchester City, and Aston Villa. However, meetings with Forest, Leeds, and Wolves could be more profitable for FPL managers. Anthony has already produced two goals and an assist in the first three Gameweeks and can be rotated out in the tougher matches.
Newcastle's fixtures present a great opportunity for FPL managers, as the Stats Sandbox image above shows, Gordon (seven) and Osula (three) are the only Newcastle players to have attempted more than two shots in the box this season. The former is suspended and the latter is likely to see reduced gametime after the Magpies signed Wissa and Woltemade over the Summer window.
Man. City rank top of the Fixture Difficulty Ratings for 'Defence Difficulty' as shown in the image below, the Manchester side host Man. Utd., Burnley and Everton at the Etihad Stadium over the next six Gameweeks which all look good for clean sheets.
However, Aït-Nouri has posted underwhelming numbers so far, the Algerian international has attempted just two assists over their three matches while Aké is their only defender to have attempted a shot in the box.
As the below image from our Stats Sandbox shows, Wolves are ranked 18th for 'Expected Goals Conceded' (xGC) (5.67) which might deter FPL managers despite the Midlands side's attractive schedule.
Bournemouth offer great options in defence, the Cherries are ranked fourth for xGC (2.98) and as the Stats Sandbox image below shows, no player has racked up more Defensive Contribution Points (DEFCON) than Senesi thus far.
Meanwhile, Leeds have attractive options at just £4.0m, Rodon is 11th amongst defenders for DEFCON (29) while only Porro (five) has created more chances than Gudmundsson (four).
