As shown in the image below, Gyökeres tops the Custom Stats xFPL table for Gameweek 35 with a score of 13.0. The Swedish international was top for both 'big chances' (four) and shots on target (four).

Enzo was top amongst all players for chances created (seven). The Argentina international also took five shots but had no ‘big chance’ involvements whatsoever, which meant a low xFPL score of just 4.0.
B. Fernandes’ owners can count themselves unlucky. The Portuguese international attempted six assists, two of which were classified as ‘big chances’, and also had two shots in the box. As his xFPL score of 7.2 shows, he could have had a bigger FPL haul.
No player attempted more shots in the box than Rayan (five). The 19-year-old winger landed one of these attempts on target and registered an xFPL score of 5.3, while his more popular team-mate Tavernier notched just 3.4.
Saka posted impressive numbers in a 45-minute appearance. The England international attempted four assists, two of which were classified as ‘big chances’, and took two shots in the box, accumulating an xFPL score of 7.2.
xFPL is calculated primarily using expected goals (xG) and expected assists (xA), which combine to form expected FPL involvements (xG + xA = xI), along with expected clean sheets (xCS). These values are based on underlying statistics — for example, shot type and location determine the probability of scoring, which contributes to xG. xFPL then combines these metrics, factoring in appearance and bonus points to produce an overall expected FPL point score.
As shown in the Transfer Analytics tool below, Cherki is the most transferred-in player ahead of Double Gameweek 36, with nearly 140,000 FPL managers adding him to their teams at the time of writing.

Double Gameweek assets dominate the top five transfers in, with Haaland, O’Reilly and Sarr all featuring. Gyökeres’ brace against Fulham has also seen his popularity surge, with over 100,000 FPL managers bringing him in.
Despite his goal against Forest, João Pedro is the most transferred-out player, with two other forwards, Thiago and Bowen, also in the top three. J. Timber and Palmer round off the top five most-sold players, with neither accumulating any points in Gameweek 35.
Looking at the top 10 forward transfer combinations, João Pedro → Gyökeres (12.5%) is the second-most popular transfer combination across all positions.

Four of the top 10 forward transfer combinations involve bringing Haaland in, with Gyökeres also featuring three times. Mateta is the other popular Double Gameweek forward, while Welbeck’s fixture against Wolves has also seen him transferred in by numerous FPL managers.
João Pedro, Bowen and Thiago are on the chopping block, along with Watkins.
A look at the top 10 midfield transfer combinations shows that Palmer → Saka (16.1%) is the most popular transfer combination across all positions this week after Palmer's penalty miss against Forest.
Double Gameweek midfielders Sarr and Cherki dominate the midfield transfers in with Semenyo, Wilson, Szoboszlai, Tavernier, Gordon and O.Dango the players being sold.
The top 10 defender transfer combinations are largely dominated by Palace defenders Lacroix and Muñoz with the duo featuring in eight of the top 10. O'Reilly and F.Kadıoğlu are the other popular defensive picks.
The Bournemouth duo of Senesi and Hill are being sold in droves despite their double-digit hauls against Palace. Strujik and Senesi are also seeing sales with FPL managers opting for Double Gameweek picks.
Welbeck and Hinshelwood both delivered FPL returns against Newcastle over the weekend and are popular picks ahead of Brighton’s Gameweek 36 fixture against bottom-placed Wolves.

As the above image from our Player Heatmaps feature shows, Welbeck (29) and Hinshelwood (28) have scored a similar number of FPL points over the last six Gameweeks despite the former playing fewer minutes (411 vs 499). However, with Brighton playing just once a week over the remainder of the season, Welbeck's minutes per game are expected to improve.

As the statistics show, there is not much to split them. Welbeck has scored more goals (three vs two), but they have had a similar number of shots in the box (12 vs 11) and shots on target (seven each). They even have a similar 'Expected Goals' tally (2.84 vs 2.82).
There is not much to split them in terms of chance creation either. Both players have attempted the same number of assists (five), but Hinshelwood is marginally ahead for 'Expected Assists' (1.32 vs 0.91).
Both look like good picks for Brighton’s run-in, depending on which FPL position needs replacing.
