
Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 2 is here, revealing the most popular captains, early chip usage and a new leader at the top of the ownership rankings.
Here are the standout Fantasy Premier League statistics from Gameweek 2.
Erling Haaland was comfortably the most popular captain, receiving a greater share of the armbands than Bruno Fernandes and João Pedro combined.
The five players above accounted for 79.9% of the Gameweek 2 captaincy, as shown in the FPL Statistics tool.

Haaland has already rewarded his backers, scoring twice in Manchester City’s 4-1 win away to Crystal Palace. The Norwegian also collected all three bonus points to finish on 13 FPL points — or 26 points as captain.
More than 83,000 managers went one step further by using the Triple Captain chip on Haaland, banking 39 points. The other popular captains now have plenty of work to do! 🤖

João Pedro has narrowly overtaken Haaland to become the most-owned player in Fantasy Premier League.
The Chelsea forward leads Haaland by just 0.2 percentage points, meaning the top spot could change again before Gameweek 3.
