There were 4 FPL price changes overnight, with two players rising and two falling.
| Player | Team | Pos | New Price | Change |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Palmer | Chelsea | MID | £9.8m | ▲ +£0.1m |
| Mbeumo | Man Utd | MID | £7.9m | ▲ +£0.1m |
| Maguire | Man Utd | DEF | £4.7m | ▼ -£0.1m |
| Ampadu | Leeds | MID | £5.3m | ▼ -£0.1m |
Palmer has risen in price ahead of Gameweek 8. He hauled eight points against Bournemouth in Gameweek 6, but managed just two points in each of his other two recent outings. Chelsea face Spurs next, which looks like a difficult test, though fixtures ease somewhat after that.
Mbeumo is in superb form and has risen in price this gameweek. He scored eight points against Spurs in Gameweek 6 and backed that up with another eight-point return against Leeds in Gameweek 7, playing the full 90 minutes in both. He is the top-scoring player among today's movers with 41 points overall. His next fixture against Bournemouth looks average, though a trip to Chelsea in Gameweek 9 will be a stern challenge.
Maguire has fallen in price this gameweek. He has started all three recent matches, playing 90 minutes each time, but his returns have been modest. He picked up just two points against Fulham and Spurs, and four points against Leeds. With a trip to Chelsea coming in Gameweek 9, that fixture looks difficult for the Man Utd defender.
The following player has also dropped in price but carries very low ownership, so is unlikely to affect most FPL squads.
Ampadu (Leeds, now £5.3m) has fallen in price with just 0.8% ownership across the game.
Today's FPL price changes offer a clear picture of who managers are backing. Mbeumo's back-to-back eight-point hauls make him the standout riser, while Maguire's fall reflects his underwhelming recent returns.
