Burnley have signed 6’6“ Dutch striker Weghorst from Wolfsburg for a fee of £12 million. The tall Dutchman a clear replacement for Wood who left for Newcastle in the January window. He started his European top flight career at AZ Alkmaar where he scored 31 goals in 60 appearances. Wolfsburg acquired his services in June 2018 and he scored 17 goals during his debut Bundesliga season, the third-highest in the league. He had an impressive second campaign as well with 16 goals and improved on that further in 2020/21 with 20 goals and nine assists. A strong physical presence, his attributes suit Burnley who rely on a lot of crosses and aerial duels and should go straight into their starting eleven. As the Fixture Analyser image below shows, Burnley have a tricky run of fixtures in the short-term but have a lot of pending matches to reschedule so he should be monitored closely over these matches.

Kulusevski made 55 appearances for Juventus over the last two seasons but 31 of these 55 appearances was as a substitute so the numbers are a bit underwhelming. Comfortable playing on the wing or in his preferred no.10 role, the youngster showed glimpses of his potential when he was on loan at Parma in the 2019/20 season where he racked up 10 goals and nine assists. He offers Spurs more options in attack and is likely to compete with Lucas Moura for a spot in the starting XI with Son and Kane both mainstays. Spurs have a good run of fixtures but it is unlikely that Kulusevski will be thrown in the lineup straightaway, especially if Son is fit to return.

Alli took the Premier League by storm in his debut season with 10 goals and nine assists. He improved on this further with 27 goals and 20 assists in the next two, and as a result was owned by almost 40% of managers in July 2017, as can be seen in the image below from our Price Change Predictor page. His output nosedived after with just five goals and three assists in the 2018/19 season, with Pochettino preferring to use him in a deeper role and the constant change of managers at Spurs has seen him reduced to a bit-part role. Lampard is likely to field Alli in a no.10 position or even as a second striker, the former Chelsea manager was known for his goal contributions from midfield and will try to get the same out of Alli. Everton have a great run of fixtures and Alli is likely to be part of Lampard’s starting lineup immediately. He could be a great differential at a budget price of just 6.2
