With blanks and doubles approaching in gameweek 25, managers need to decide which premiums to retain in their squad and in this blog Kane, Salah, De Bruyne and Fernandes’ numbers are compared since the restart, using the Fix Comparison Matrix.

Kane has been one of the standout premium options since the restart and is top of the comparison for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) points per game (6.0), goals (0.6), assists (0.3), shots (3.6) and shots in the box (SiB) (2.9). He is also second for 'big chances'. As the below image from our Fixture Planner shows, Spurs have three home games in the next four gameweeks which includes Forest and West Ham so managers should think twice before parting ways with the England international for double gameweek assets.

Salah bagged his first return since gameweek 17 with a goal against Everton in gameweek 22 and his shot volume of 2.6 shots and 2.4 SiB is second only to Kane. However, his finishing has let him down. The Egyptian talisman has averaged only 0.3 goals per game and 4.9 FPL points since the restart, despite being top in the comparison for 'big chances' (0.6). As the below image from our Stats Sandbox feature shows, both of Salah's opponents in double gameweek 25, Palace and Wolves, are in the bottom five for SiB conceced since the restart, so the Liverpool attacker is worth bringing in.

De Bruyne has been an extremely frustrating FPL asset since the restart, the Belgian international has averaged a paltry 2.9 FPL points per game and notched just two assists over that period despite being top for chances created (3.1). He averages just 0.4 SiB and has been afforded no 'big chances' over the last seven gameweeks. He has also been benched twice over that period and with the Champions League resuming, there is always a risk of another benching. Managers looking to free up funds for double gameweek assets should consider getting rid of the Belgian international from their squads.
Fernandes has averaged a healthy 6.0 FPL points per game since the restart and has posted decent underlying numbers with 2.4 shots and 2.9 attempted assists per game. However, he has averaged just 1.4 SiB and been afforded only 0.3 'big chances' per game. With a blank in gameweek 25 and another possible blank in gameweek 28, it looks like managers may want to part ways.
