There are just two gameweeks remaining until the Premier League pauses for the World Cup and in this blog the teams and players to target are discussed.

Man. City are top of the Fixture Planner for the remaining two weeks and while most managers already own the likes of Haaland and Cancelo, the third Man. City spot remains up for debate with De Bruyne once again underlining his credentials with a double-digit haul at Leicester. As the below image from our Match Stats feature shows, over the last five matches De Bruyne (two) trails only Haaland (three) for goals scored, while he is top by a distance for chances created (13).

West Ham, Bournemouth and Everton also have a good pair of fixtures, but as the below image from our Stats Sandbox feature shows, it is only the Hammers assets that are of interest with the likes of Bowen and Cresswell in the top two for 'Expected FPL points' (xFPL). Scamacca is a good option for managers looking to replace Mitrović or Toney. Iwobi tops the table for FPL points (33) but relies mostly on his creativity. The Nigerian international has only registered one shot in six matches versus nine attempted assists.

Man. Utd have been one of the form teams over the last six gameweeks and as the below image from our Stats Sandbox Team Stats shows, the Red Devils are ranked fifth for 'Expected Goals Conceded' (xGC) (6.68) over the last six matches. Dalot is ranked fourth for both attempted assists (10) and xFPL (30.17) over that period with only Trippier (eight) racking up more bonus points than his six.

For managers looking to make up ground, the Player Point Projections feature has Darwin (9.9) leading the way and Bowen (9.5) in second over the next two gameweeks. Both look like great options, while Son (8.8) could also be a good choice if he is available to play this weekend after going off injured on Tuesday night. Grealish could be an interesting option. The Englishman seems to have secured the left-wing position under Guardiola and is only 1% owned ahead of Man. City's two plum home fixtures. Whether he plays significant minutes in both of those games remains to be seen.
