  1. No.1 predicted by Fix
  2. Alternative high-ownership option. Over 20%
  3. Differential option. Under 20%

Erling Haaland (CHE/bha)

Haaland’s six goals over as many gameweeks is surpassed only by C. Wilson amongst forwards (eight), but the Norwegian international is top for shots in the box (SiB) (21), shots on target (SoT) (13), ‘big chances’ (BC) (12) and ‘Expected Goals’ (xG) (5.64). Man. City have scored 17 goals over the last six gameweeks and only Newcastle (19) and Liverpool (20) have been more prolific. Meanwhile, only Brighton (44), Newcastle (42) and Man. Utd (40) have landed more SoT than their 39. Their visitors Chelsea have conceded 10 goals over the last six gameweeks and have kept no clean sheets since Lampard took over. The London side are ranked 10th for SiB conceded (55). Their hosts for the second game Brighton have conceded 13 goals over the same period and have kept just three clean sheets. The Seagulls are ranked 18th for SiB conceded (70). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 13.5 for Haaland.

Bruno Fernandes (bou/CHE)

B. Fernandes has notched only one goal over the last six gameweeks, but his underlying data remains strong. The Portuguese international has taken 12 SiB over the aforementioned period with only Salah (20) and Mitoma (13) attempting more amongst midfielders. As the Stats Sandbox image below shows, he is top for both chances created (26) and BC created (10). Man. Utd have scored seven goals over the last six gameweeks and are third for shots shots (115) with only Newcastle (122) and Brighton (130) faring better. Their hosts Bournemouth have conceded 69 goals this season and only Leeds (71) have been more generous. No side has allowed opponents more SiB over the campaign than the Cherries (387). In the second game, their visitors Chelsea have conceded 41 goals this season (third) and are ranked sixth for SiB conceded (263). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 8.4 for B. Fernandes.

Riyad Mahrez (CHE/bha)

Mahrez has been Man. City’s creative wizard of late, with five assists over the last six gameweeks, more than any player across the league. Only B. Fernandes (26) and B. Guimarães (15) have created more chances than his 14 while he has also attempted nine shots. As the below image from our Predicted Lineups feature shows, he is rated at 97% to start. No team has scored more goals than Man. City (92) this season and they are also top for BC (126) and xG (72.56). Their first opponents Chelsea are ranked sixth for ‘Expected Goals Conceded’ (xGC) (7.53) over the last six gameweeks while their second opponents Brighton are ranked 15th for xGC (11.64). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 7.2 for Mahrez.
