Headliner - Mohamed Salah (AVL)

During home matches this calendar year, Salah has amassed seven goals and one assist in six appearances, to average 10 points per game (PPG) as per our Fix Heatmaps feature. The Egyptian ranks top for shots in total (25), from inside the box (23) and on target (13), across all positions. He has had six ‘big chances’, and only trails McBurnie, Jiménez and Mané (seven each), while only De Bruyne can match his tally of six ‘big chances’ created. Liverpool have scored nine goals over the last six gameweeks and only Wolves (10), Arsenal (11), Man. Utd (13), Man. City and Chelsea (both 14) have been more prolific. Liverpool only trail Chelsea (64) for shots in the box (SiB) (57). Villa have conceded 10 goals over the last six matches and only West Ham (11), Norwich (12) and Bournemouth (14) have been more porous. They have allowed opponents 27 shots on target (SoT) with only Sheff. Utd (28), Spurs (31), Bournemouth, Arsenal (both 33) and Norwich (34) being more obliging. With five goals and three assists in eight appearances, no player has amassed more Fantasy Premier League (FPL) points than B. Fernandes (65) since his arrival in the Premier League (gameweek 25). The 25-year-old has fired a league-high total of 30 shots in that time, while no midfielder can better his 13 SoT .Only Moutinho (17), Maddison (20), De Bruyne (21) and Grealish (22) have attempted more assists than his 15. He is the most transferred in player this week as per our Transfer Stats feature. Man. Utd have scored 13 goals over the last six gameweeks and only Chelsea and Man. City (both 14) have fared better. Man. Utd's total of 37 SoT can only be bettered by Chelsea’s 42. Their opponents Bournemouth have the worst defensive numbers over the last six matches, conceding 14 goals. Marcus Rashford (BOU)

Rashford has played a hand in 14 goals over 12 appearances at Old Trafford this season (10 goals, 4 assists), where he has averaged 7.3 points per game. As the Stats Sandbox shows, no FPL forward has scored more goals during home matches (10), while only Maupay and Abraham (each 21) can better the England international’s 20 SoT. He ranks joint-second with a total of 16 ‘big chances’ only trailing the Chelsea forward once again. Man. Utd have scored 32 goals on home turf this season and only Liverpool (44) and Man. City (45) have fared better. Their total of 99 SoT is only bettered by Liverpool (108) and Man. City (111). Bournemouth have conceded 27 goals in 16 away matches, keeping just two clean sheets. Only Villa (99), West Ham (89), Spurs (93) and Newcastle (95) have allowed opponents more shots on their travels than the Cherries’ 85. Raul Jiménez (ARS)

With four goals in the last six gameweeks, Jiménez has earned 33 FPL points and only Aubameyang (37) and Jota (35) are the only forwards with more in that time. The Mexican ranks top amongst players in his position with a total of 22 shots, while only Calvert-Lewin (3.77) can better his 3.37 expected goals figure (xG). Ings (eight) is the only forward with more than his seven attempted assists. The Wolves' forward is the most owned player in the top 1000 at 91% ownership as per our FPL Statistics feature. Wolves have scored 10 goals over the last six matches, only Arsenal (11), Man. Utd (13), Man. City and Chelsea (both 14) have found the back of the net with more regularity. The midlands club have created 13 ‘big chances’ over those matches with only six teams managing more. Arsenal have conceded just seven goals over the last six league matches, but the fact that they are second-bottom for SoT conceded (33) only behind Norwich (34), indicates that they have been a tad fortunate. Trent Alexander-Arnold (AVL)

Liverpool will be looking to bounce back from the 4-0 thrashing by Man City when they welcome Villa to Anfield on Sunday. No defender has amassed more FPL points (48) than Alexander-Arnold during home matches this calendar year, where he has averaged eight points per game across six matches. During that period, only Robertson (14) has attempted more assists than his 12, while the pair rank joint-first with a total of three ‘big chances’ created. Liverpool have conceded 10 goals over the last six gameweeks keeping just two clean sheets but their underlying defensive numbers are still good. The Reds allowed opponents just 20 SoT over that period, with only Man. City, Chelsea (both 19), Man. Utd, Newcastle (both 17) and Wolves (13) being more solid. Their opponents Villa have scored just two goals over the same six gameweek period and only Norwich (one) have fared worse. Sheff. Utd (46) are the only team to have taken fewer shots than Villa's 55. Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a 60% chance of a Liverpool clean sheet and a point score of 7.0 for the right-back.
