Headliner - Mohamed Salah (WHU)

Salah’s struggle for goals in away games (two in 11) continued against Norwich last gameweek but the Egyptian has netted in each of his last three home matches. As the Fix Heatmaps feature shows, he's averaged 9.0 points per game at Anfield this season, scoring 12 goals in 12 games, compared to just 5.5 PPG on the road. No player has fired more shots, in total (49), from inside the box (42), or on target (24) during home matches, while only Abraham (16) has been afforded more than his 15 ‘big chances’. Liverpool have scored 14 goals over the last six gameweeks, the highest in the league. Only Man. City (120) took more shots than their 107. They are also top for ‘big chances’ 23 and shots on target (SoT) 44. Their opponents West Ham have conceded 13 goals over the same period, only Villa (14) have been more porous. Only Newcastle (35) allowed opponents more SoT than their 34. They also conceded 21 ‘big chances’ with only Newcastle (23) and Villa (26) faring worse. Danny Ings (AVL)

After finding his 15th goal of the season against Burnley, Ings has now scored three in the last six gameweeks; only behind Agüero (six) amongst forwards. The 27-year-old has fired eight shots on target (SoT) during that period, with Firmino (nine), Jesus (12) and Agüero (12) the only forwards to produce more. He also ranks joint-sixth for shots in the box (SiB) (15) and joint-seventh for ‘big chances’ (four) amongst players in his position. He is the most transferred in player this week as per our Transfer Stats feature with over 150,000 bringing him in. Southampton have scored eight goals in the last six gameweeks and are ranked sixth for shots (81) over that period. Only Everton (32), Leicester (38), Man. City (41) and Liverpool (44) have landed more SoT than the Saints’ 29. The Villa defence continues to be obliging, no team conceded more goals (14), shots in the box (SiB) (70) or ‘big chances’ (26) over the last six gameweeks. Raúl Jiménez (NOR)

Although Jiménez failed to score against Leicester last Friday, no forward managed more than his five shots in the box during the gameweek, while only Jesus was afforded more ‘big chances’ (three to two). The Mexican has three goals in the last four gameweeks and as the Stats Sandbox shows, no player has claimed as many as his seven ‘big chances’ during that period. He also ranks 2nd amongst forwards, with totals of 14 SiB and six SoT just behind Agüero (16 SiB, seven on target). Wolves have scored six goals in as many gameweeks and are ranked ninth for SiB (51). They are ranked fourth for ‘big chances’ (18) with only Everton (20), Man. City (22) and Liverpool (23) creating more. Norwich have conceded eight goals over the same period, only seven teams shipped more goals. They are also eighth-worst for SoT conceded (26). Jack Grealish (sou)

Grealish has amassed four Fantasy Premier League (FPL) involvements in the last six gameweeks (two goals, two assists), playing a hand in 44% of his team’s goals. The Villa talisman has attempted 19 assists during that period, with only De Bruyne (23) and Maddison (21) faring better, while only Mahrez (four), Traoré, De Bruyne (both five) and Salah (seven) created more big chances than his three. Salah (25) and the now-injured Son (18) were the only midfielders able to better his 11 SiB. He is owned by 52% of the top 1000 as per our FPL Statistics feature. Villa have scored nine goals over the last gameweeks, only Arsenal (10), Leicester (11), Everton (11), Man. City (13) and Liverpool (14) have been more prolific. They are ranked fourth for SiB (77) with only Chelsea (65), Liverpool (77) and Man. City (82) faring better. Southampton have conceded 10 goals over the aforementioned period, only Bournemouth (12), West Ham (13) and Villa (14) have conceded more. They are also seventh-bottom for SoT conceded (29). Trent Alexander-Arnold (WHU)

After the 1-0 win at Carrow Road, Liverpool have kept clean sheets in 10 of their last 11 league games, shipping just one goal. Over the last six Gameweeks, only Van Dijk (48) has earned more FPL points than Alexander-Arnold (47) amongst defenders, with the right-back averaging 6.7 points per game. He ranks joint-third amongst defenders with a total of 10 attempted assists in that time, only behind Robertson (11) and Digne (13). Liverpool have conceded just one goal over the last six gameweeks and are ranked fourth for ‘big chances’ conceded (nine) with only Man. Utd (eight), Wolves (six) and Man. City (five) faring better. West Ham have taken only 61 shots over the same period with only Sheff. Utd (58), Arsenal (58), Bournemouth (56), Palace (52) and Newcastle (51) taking fewer. They are also ninth-worst for ‘big chances’ conceded (12).
