Haaland's goal against Arsenal took his total to six in as many gameweeks, more than any other forward over that period. As the Stats Sandbox image below shows, the Norwegian international is also top for 'big chances' (13) with only Kane (10) landing more shots on target (SoT) than his nine. Man. City are top for both goals scored (16) and 'big chances' (30) over the last six gameweeks while their opponents Forest have conceded only four goals over the same period. Only Newcastle and Brentford (two each) have conceded fewer. The Nottingham side are fourth for shots conceded (63) and fifth for 'big chances' conceded (10). Salah's goal against Everton was his only strike over the last six gameweeks but his underlying numbers have still been decent with only Martinelli (15), Saka (17) and Rashford (18) managing more SiB than his 14 amongst midfielders. As the below image from our Match Stats feature shows, he is top amongst Liverpool players for 'Expected Goals' (xG) (1.7) over their last five matches and trails only Alexander-Arnold (eight) for attempted assists (five). Liverpool have struggled to find the back of the net with just five goals over the aforementioned period but the Merseyside outfit are ranked fourth for shots (95) and eighth for 'big chances' (13) which is encouraging. Their hosts Newcastle have been the best defence in the league this season and have conceded just two goals over the last six gameweeks. Felix scored his first goal for Chelsea after his return from a three-game suspension against West Ham and the Portuguese international has taken six SiB over just 146 minutes so far. He has been afforded two 'big chances' and landed six SoT. As the below image from our Transfer Analytics feature shows, he is the most bought player this week with over 120,000 transfers. The Blues have scored just four goals over the last six gameweeks but have still been generating chances. The London side are ranked sixth for SiB (85) and fifth for 'big chances' (17). Their visitors Southampton have conceded 10 goals over the last six gameweeks and have kept no clean sheets, only Everton (11) and Spurs (12) have been more porous. The Saints are ranked ninth for shots conceded (72) and fifth for 'big chances' conceded (10). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 2.9 for Felix.
Rashford has been one of Europe's form players since the World Cup, over the last six gameweeks he is top amongst midfielders for goals (seven), shots (26), SiB (18), SoT (12) and 'big chances' (eight) and has averaged 7.5 points per game as shown in the Fix Heatmaps image below. Man. Utd have also been prolific in front of goal with only Man. City (16) scoring more goals than their 15 over the last six gameweeks. The Red Devils (112) trail only Arsenal (118) for SiB while no side has landed more SoT (39). Their visitors Leicester have conceded 10 goals over the last six gameweeks and have kept no clean sheets. The Foxes are ranked 13th for shots conceded (90) and 12th for 'big chances' conceded (13). R. James looks to be back to full fitness after featuring in the last two league games for Chelsea and also in their Champions League tie against Dortmund midweek. The right-back is one of the most attacking defenders in the league as his numbers from last year evidence. He was joint-top for goals scored amongst defenders alongside Gabriel (five) despite playing just 27 matches. He accumulated 37 shots and was fourth for chances created (48) despite limited minutes. Chelsea have conceded five goals over the last six gameweeks and have kept three clean sheets. Only Fulham, Forest (four each), Brenford and Newcastle (two each) have been more frugal. The Blues are ranked third for 'big chances conceded (seven) with only Brentford (six) and Newcastle (five) faring better. Their visitors Southampton have struggled to find the back of the net with only Newcastle (three) and Bournemouth (two) scoring fewer goals over the last six gameweeks than the Saints (four). Only Everton (31) have taken fewer SiB than Southampton (40) while only Palace and Bournemouth (six each) have fashioned fewer 'big chances' than their seven.
