Caveat - Picks are in the below format
Haaland introduced himself to the Premier League in style with a brace against West Ham in gameweek one, no player took more shots (five) or was afforded more 'big chances' (four) than the 22-year old. He notched 22 goals and eight assists in just 24 appearances for Dortmund last season and with the likes of De Bruyne supplying him, he should only improve on these numbers. Man. City scored 58 goals in home matches last season, the highest in the league. Only Liverpool (70) registered more 'big chances' (63) on home turf than the reigning Champions last season. Bournemouth conceded only 39 goals in the Championship, the fewest in the division and kept 21 clean sheets. However, they are without several key personnel and will be in for a stern test at the Etihad. Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 8.1 for Haaland.
Salah continued where he left off last season with a 12-point Fantasy Premier League (FPL) haul against Fulham and he has an excellent record against Palace with seven goals and six assists. As the Stats Sandbox image below shows, the Egyptian international was top amongst midfielders for shots (139), SiB (113), SoT (55) and 'big chances' (37) last season and also chipped in with 18 'big chances' created and 14 assists. No team registered more 'big chances' (four) than the Merseyside outfit in gameweek one and they scored 15 goals in the final six gameweeks of last season with only Chelsea (150) taking more shots than their 148. Palace conceded only seven goals over the same period, keeping three clean sheets. They were seventh for goals conceded (46) and fifth for shots conceded (443) but registered just three clean sheets in away matches with only four teams registering fewer. Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 7.1 for Salah.
