The Fix Custom Stats builder is a powerful tool that lets users customize the data they want to see with a number of different metrics available. One such metric is xFPL, as explained below
xFPL is calculated primarily using expected goals (xG), assists (xA), which combine as Fantasy Premier League (FPL) involvements (xG + xA = xI), as well as expected clean sheets (xC). These numbers are a result of underlying statistics (i.e. shot type and location will give a probability of scoring = xG). xFPL is the combination of these statistics and factors in appearance and bonus points to give an overall expected FPL point score.
As the below image shows, the duo of Antonio and Benrahma top the Custom Stats Table for xFPL over the first two gameweeks.
If finding value is the priority, the 'FPL points per £1m' metric can be used to identify which players are delivering the most bang for your buck. The below image shows that Tsimikas and Benrahma are currently the best value for money picks in FPL.
While looking for players with assist potential, it is important to look for the quality of chances they create, not just the quantity. The 'Big chances' created stat helps identify which players are creating the best opportunities for their teammates. Salah and Mount lead the way with three 'big chances' created each, and with Lukaku now leading the line, the Chelsea creative midfielder could be worth the investment at just 7.5.
