Caveat - Picks are in below format

  1. No.1 predicted by Fix
  2. Alternative high-ownership option. Over 20%
  3. Differential option. Under 20%

Mohamed Salah (LEE)

Salah has found the back of the net twice over the last four gameweeks, only Martinelli, Sterling and Mount (all three) have been more prolific amongst midfielders. The Egyptian (14) is second only to Jota (16) for shots while only Martinelli, Grealish (each four) and Jota (five) have been afforded more 'big chances' than his three. Liverpool have scored seven goals over the aforementioned period with only Arsenal (10) and Man. City (15) scoring more. Man. City (99) are the only side to have taken more shots than their 78. Leeds have conceded a whopping 16 goals in their last four matches and are bottom for both shots on target (SoT) conceded (36) and 'big chances' conceded (16). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 9.1 for Salah.

Cristiano Ronaldo (new)

Ronaldo has scored seven goals this season with only Vardy (nine) finding the back of the net more often amongst forwards. As the Stats Sandbox image below shows, the Portugal international is top for shots (46), shots in the box (SiB) (39), SoT (19) and 'big chances' (12). Man. Utd are ranked seventh for goals scored (26) this season and despite missing two games due to postponements, they are still ranked fifth for SoT (77). Their hosts Newcastle have the worst defensive record in the divison, shipping 41 goals. They are bottom for both shots conceded (286) and 'big chances' conceded (53). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 7.6 for Ronaldo.

Heung-Min Son (CRY)

Son has notched five goals in home matches this season with only Salah (six) scoring more on home turf. His total of 27 shots in home matches is bettered only by Trossard, Jota (each 29) and Salah (37) amongst midfielders. Only Jota (11) has registered more 'big chances' than his seven. The South Korea international is a massive differential with his ownership below 5% in the Top-1k and the Top-10k as per our FPL Statistics feature. Spurs have scored 13 goals in their nine home matches and are ranked eighth for shots (113). However, they are ranked fifth for 'big chances' 22) with only Arsenal (24), Man. City (30), Chelsea (31) and Liverpool (33) fashioning more clear cut chances on home turf. Their visitors Palace have conceded 15 goals in eight away matches, nearly two a game. Only six sides have fared worse. The Eagles are ranked 12th for shots conceded (12) and 15th for SoT conceded (44) on their travels. Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 4.7 for Son.
