Mohamed Salah (AVL)

Salah has notched three goals in the last four gameweeks, only B. Silva and Jota (each four) can better that number amongst midfielders. The Egyptian is top for shots (15) and trails only Jota (seven) for 'big chances' (five). His creativity ensures he has multiple avenues for points, only Foden (four) has created more 'big chances' than his three. Liverpool have scored 13 goals over the last four gameweeks, more than any other side and the Merseyside outfit are also top for 'big chances' (17). Their opponents Villa have posted decent defensive numbers recently, conceding just four goals in as many matches. They are ranked fifth for both shots conceded (16) and 'big chances' conceded (four) but facing Liverpool at Anfield is a much sterner test for the Midlands club, in their current free scoring form. Cristiano Ronaldo (nor)

Ronaldo will be looking to add to his total of two goals in the last four gameweeks when the Red Devils face the Canaries in gameweek 16. The Portugal international is top amongst forwards for shots (15), shots in the box (SiB) (13), 'big chances' (four) and shots on target (SoT) (six) over the aforementioned period. He is a popular transfer this week as per our Transfer Stats feature, with over 100,000 managers bringing him in already. Man. Utd have scored six goals over the last four gameweeks and were ranked ninth for SoT (18) and eighth for 'big chances' (seven). Norwich have conceded five goals over the same period, keeping just one clean sheet. Their defensive numbers have improved under D. Smith, they are ranked seventh for shots faced (48) and fourth for 'big chances' conceded (three). It is worth mentioning though that they played relatively toothless attacks in Southampton, Wolves, Newcastle and Spurs over that run, and Man. Utd already look better under Rangnick. His total of 14 shots can be bettered only by the Liverpool duo (each 15) while no player has landed more SoT (seven). As the Stats Sandbox image below shows, he has been creating chances too, only Ward-Prowse, Shelvey (each nine), Ødegaard (10) and Sterling (12) have attempted more assists than his eight. Leicester have scored seven goals over the last four gameweeks, only Watford, Chelsea (eight each), Man. City (10) and Liverpool (13) have fared better. The Foxes are ranked third for 'big chances' (nine) over that period. Their visitors Newcastle have conceded six goals over the last four matches, keeping just one clean sheet. The Magpies are ranked 15th for shots conceded (60) and 12th for 'big chances conceded' (nine). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 4.8 for Maddison.
