Bruno Fernandes (WOL)

B. Fernandes notched his 10^th goal of the season against Leicester in gameweek 15, only Son (11) and Salah (13) have been more prolific amongst midfielders this season. His total of 43 shots is bettered only by De Bruyne (44) and Salah (47) while only the Egyptian (25) has landed more shots on target (SoT) than his 19. Only Grealish (eight) has registered more assists than his seven and only the Englishman (49) has created more chances than his 44. Man. Utd have scored 30 goals this season, which can only be bettered by Liverpool (36). Their total of 79 SoT can only be toppled by Chelsea (80) and Liverpool (91). Wolves have conceded 19 goals this season, keeping just four clean sheets. They are ranked eighth for shots in the box (SiB) (105) conceded and fifth for ‘big chances’ conceded (23). Harry Kane (FUL)

Only Vardy and Calvert-Lewin (11) have scored more goals than Kane (nine) amongst forwards this season, and no forward has taken more shots than his 54. His total of 21 SoT is only bettered by Calvert-Lewin and Bamford (both 24). No player across all positions has registered more assists than Kane’s 10 and the Englishman also leads the creativity numbers amongst forwards with 23 chances created, nine of these chances registered as  ‘big chances’. Kane is owned by 50.6% of the top 1000 as per our FPL Statistics feature. Spurs have scored 25 goals this season, only six sides have managed more. Their total of 36 ‘big chances’ created is only bettered by Man. City, Man. Utd, Chelsea (all 39), Villa (40) and Liverpool (43). Fulham have shipped 23 goals this season, only Newcastle (24), Sheff. Utd (26), Palace (28), West Brom (29) and Leeds (30) have been more porous. Only Palace (36), West Brom, Sheff. Utd (both 38) and Leeds (42) have allowed opponents more ‘big chances’ than the Cottagers’ 33. Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 6.7 for Kane.

Sadio Mané (new)

Mané has found the back of the net five times this season, a total that can only be beaten by Rashford (six), Zaha (seven), B. Fernandes (10), Son (11) and Salah (13) amongst midfielders. As the Stats Sandbox shows, only Salah (34) has taken more SiB than his 32 while only Rashford, Salah (both 11) and Son (12) have been afforded more ‘big chances’ than his 10. Liverpool top the attacking numbers, the Champions lead the way for goals (36), shots (217), SoT (91) and ‘big chances’ (43). Newcastle have conceded 24 goals this season, only Sheff. Utd (26), Palace (28), West Brom (29) and Leeds (30) have been more obliging. They have kept just two clean sheets, only Palace (one) and Sheff. Utd (zero) have kept fewer. Only West Brom and Sheff.
