The guys at fantasyfootballfix.com have done a really great job in providing the FPL community with many applications which, for some managers, are essential to their FPL planning. One application that is hot off the press right now is the Fixture Rotator. I previewed this application last week and for those who missed it, please check here!
The idea of the app is simple - "To understand the optimum rotation of approaching fixtures using attack and defence potential. Exclude or include teams by clicking on various club icons and let our algorithm calculate the optimal rotation over the coming Gameweeks."
So, under the Assistant Manager section of this site you will see this fantastic predictor alongside other great applications and there are many options you can choose from to build a strong rotation.
I have decided to hit things off with a defensive five Gameweek rotation between 2 players. The design behind this move is that once those five Gameweeks conclude we are presented with a 2 week break in the middle of the long awaited January Wildcard window. In this void many FPL managers will seek aid from the wildcard where players can be reassessed and teams reconfigured. I have also decided to exclude teams from Chelsea and Manchester City due to their high end price tags and Leicester plus QPR for their pure lack of ability to keep a clean sheet, these options are represented below.
The result of this withstanding orbital duet is to pick a player from West Ham and Sunderland which is where your own skill and judgement has to take over. Looking at the players on offer I have decided to go with a rotation from two of the inform keepers in the game right now, Adrian and Pantilimon. Over the next 5 Gameweeks we are faced with Hull(H) Villa(A) WBA(H) LIV(H) and HUL(H) - tasty!
Beat the Fixture Rotator!
Think you can outsmart the rotator?
In this new feature, every week we will publish a rotation from the application and it is down to you guys and girls to create a superior one! Every Tuesday we will post the points from each rotation the robot picks vs the rotations the FPL community picks. A few rules though...
Each entry has to match the format and price the Rotator picks, in this case a Goal Keeper rotation with options 5\2\1 from the sliders with a total bill of no more than £9.5m. So what are you waiting for, post in the comments section your creation and see how you fair against the computing code!
Festive greetings everyone, hope your Boxing Day points are a belated Christmas present and if not, well there’s always chocolate and whiskey to soften the blow.
Regards
Matt
