Mohamed Salah (shu)

Salah (10) is second only to Haaland (14) in the Golden Boot race and amongst midfielders the Egyptian is top for shots (40), shots in the box (SiB) (31), shots on target (SoT) (18), 'big chances' (BC) (14) and 'Expected Goals' (xG) (9.43). Meanwhile, only Saka and B. Fernandes (36 each) have created more chances than his 34 and he is top for both BC created (13) and 'Expected Assists' (xA) (6.85). Liverpool have scored 32 goals this season with only Villa (33) and Man. City (36) being more prolific. The Merseyside outfit are top for both shots (251) and xG (31.80). Their hosts Sheff. Utd. have the worst defensive record in the division. The Blades are bottom for goals conceded (39), shots conceded (267) and 'Expected Goals Conceded' (xGC) (33.14). Heung-Min Son (WHU)

Son's nine goals this season trails only Salah (10) amongst midfielders and the South Korean international is sixth for shots (34) and BC (eight) while he is fifth for both SiB (25) and xG (5.30). He has also created seven BC with only B. Fernandes (eight) and Salah (13) faring better. As the below image from our Fix Heatmaps feature shows, he has averaged 5.0 FPL points per game in home matches this season. Spurs have scored 28 goals this season (seventh) with only Man. City (231) and Liverpool (251) taking more shots than their 217. Their visitors West Ham have conceded 24 goals and have kept just one clean sheet this campaign. Meanwhile, only Bournemouth (224), Luton (242) and Sheff. Utd. (267) have allowed opponents more shots than the Hammers (221). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 7.2 for Son.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (shu)

Alexander-Arnold has notched just two assists this season but he is fourth for chances created amongst defenders (21) with only Porro (six) and Trippier (nine) creating more BC than his four. Meanwhile, as the Stats Sandbox image below shows, Cash (20) is the only player that has taken more shots than his 19. Liverpool have conceded just 14 goals this season with only Arsenal (11) more frugal. The Merseyside outfit are sixth for both SiB conceded (113) and xGC (19.72). Their hosts Sheff. Utd. have found the net just 11 times, the fewest in the division. The Blades are bottom for shots (131), BC (13) and xG (11.14).
