Heung-Min Son (AVL)

Son's eight goals trails only Salah (10) amongst midfielders with the South Korean international second only to the latter for shots on target (SoT) (16 vs 17). He is ranked fourth for shots from open play (27) with only B. Fernandes (28), Salah (30) and Rashford (34) taking more while he is ranked fifth for 'Expected Goals' (xG) (4.80). Spurs have scored 24 goals this season (seventh) and are ranked second for shots from open play (150). Their visitors Villa have conceded 17 goals this season (ninth) but have kept only two clean sheets. The Midlands side are ranked fifth for 'Expected Goals Conceded' (xGC) (15.92). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 5.5 for Son.

Erling Haaland (LIV)

Haaland's total of 13 goals is three clear of Salah in second (10), the Norwegian international is top amongst all players for shots (46), shots in the box (SiB) (44), SoT (27), 'big chances' (BC) (22) and xG (12.50). He has been pictured in training for Man. City ahead of the fixture after missing out on Norway's second international game with an injury. As the below image from our Elite XI feature shows, he is currently the most popular captaincy option amongst the Elite Managers. Man. City are top for goals scored (32) this season with only Liverpool (217) taking more shots than their 198. The reigning Champions trail only the Reds (27.94) for xG (26.13). Their opponents Liverpool have conceded only 10 goals this season, the joint-fewest in the league but have kept just four clean sheets. The Merseyside outfit are ranked seventh for xGC (16.49). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 2.9 for Haaland.

Dominic Solanke (shu)

Solanke has been Bournemouth's talisman this season, as the below image from our Stats Sandbox feature shows, amongst their players he is top for shots (33), SoT (12), BC (eight) and xG (5.12). The gap is vast, no other Bournemouth player has been afforded more than two BC while Billing's 1.57 xG in second is nearly four times lower. Bournemouth have scored just 11 goals this season (16th) but have posted decent numbers in attack. The Cherries are ranked 11th for shots from open play (112) and 12th for SoT (52). Their hosts Sheff. Utd. have conceded 31 goals this season and kept no clean sheets, the worst defensive record in the league. No team has allowed opponents more shots than the Blades (225) while only Luton (28.84) have registered a worse xGC than their 28.04. Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 4.7 for Solanke.
