Twelve Fantasy Premier League players experienced price changes overnight, with managers across the globe adjusting their squads ahead of the crucial festive fixture period.
Newcastle's forward Woltemade has risen to £7.5m following an impressive run of performances. The German striker has started all three of his recent fixtures, playing 85 minutes against Manchester City (2 points), 89 minutes in the 4-1 victory over Everton (7 points), and the full 90 minutes in the 2-2 draw with Spurs (5 points).
With 23.1% ownership, Woltemade faces Burnley at home in Gameweek 15, followed by fixtures against Sunderland, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Burnley again. The upcoming schedule presents a mixed bag of opportunities, with the home fixture against Burnley looking particularly appealing for FPL returns.
Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden has experienced his third price rise of the gameweek, now costing £8.4m. Despite City's recent struggles, Foden has delivered impressive individual performances, scoring 2 points against Newcastle, followed by an excellent 15-point haul against Leeds and 17 points in the thrilling 5-4 defeat to Fulham.
Currently owned by 18.0% of managers, Foden faces Sunderland at home in Gameweek 15, then Crystal Palace away, West Ham at home, Nottingham Forest away, and Sunderland again. The upcoming fixtures present good scoring opportunities, particularly the home matches against Sunderland and West Ham.
Manchester United midfielder Bryan Mbeumo has fallen to £8.5m following a disappointing run of form. Despite being owned by 33.8% of managers, Mbeumo has managed just 1 point against Everton, 1 point in the 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace, and 2 points in the 1-1 draw with West Ham across his last three appearances.
The highly-owned midfielder faces Wolves away in Gameweek 15, followed by Bournemouth at home, Aston Villa away, Newcastle at home, and Wolves again. His recent lack of attacking returns has clearly concerned FPL managers despite his strong season total of 243 points.
Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo has dropped to £5.8m and is currently suspended until December 20th. The Ecuadorian has endured a difficult period, failing to start against Burnley (0 points), receiving a red card after just 38 minutes against Arsenal (-2 points), and remaining on the bench for the 3-1 defeat to Leeds (0 points).
With 13.1% ownership, Caicedo's suspension rules him out of Chelsea's upcoming fixtures against Bournemouth, Everton, Newcastle, Aston Villa, and Bournemouth again. Managers should avoid until his suspension is served and he returns to regular starting duties.
Several low-ownership players experienced price changes overnight. Brighton defender Van Hecke rose to £4.5m (2.9% ownership), while Manchester United goalkeeper Lammens increased to £5.1m (1.9% ownership).
On the falling side, Manchester City defender Lewis dropped to £4.7m (1.4% ownership), and Wolves forward Strand Larsen fell to £6.2m (1.0% ownership). Additionally, Bournemouth's J.Araujo decreased to £3.8m (0.6% ownership), while Brentford's Dasilva (£4.9m), Crystal Palace's Rodney (£4.4m), and Wolves' Tolu (£5.4m) all fell in price with minimal ownership.
