There were 5 FPL price changes overnight, with one player rising and four falling.
| Player | Team | Pos | New Price | Change |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Evanilson | Bournemouth | FWD | £6.3m | ▲ +£0.2m |
| Calafiori | Arsenal | DEF | £5.9m | ▼ -£0.1m |
| Havertz | Arsenal | FWD | £7.4m | ▼ -£0.1m |
| Tzolis | Arsenal | MID | £6.1m | ▼ -£0.1m |
| Tomiyasu | Crystal Palace | DEF | £4.3m | ▼ -£0.1m |
Evanilson has risen twice this gameweek, reflecting his outstanding recent form. He bagged 12 points against Sunderland, then followed that up with six points in a 3-0 win away at Man Utd. His next two fixtures look very promising, with Leeds at home followed by an away trip to Ipswich, both of which are easy on paper.
Calafiori is owned by more than half of all FPL managers, making this price drop significant. He scored nine points against Leeds but has since struggled for minutes, playing just 22 against Everton as a substitute. He is currently carrying a hip injury and has a 75% chance of playing in Gameweek 9. That next fixture away at Liverpool is a difficult one, and a trip to Man City in Gameweek 12 also looks tough.
Havertz has been poor value recently. He has scored just five points across his last three appearances and has failed to complete 90 minutes in any of them, managing only 22 minutes against Everton from the bench. With a difficult trip to Liverpool next and a home game against Man City in Gameweek 12, the fixtures do not flatter him either.
Two further FPL price changes today involve players with low ownership and are unlikely to affect many squads.
Tzolis (Arsenal, now £6.1m) and Tomiyasu (Crystal Palace, now £4.3m) have both dropped in price but are owned by fewer than 5% of managers combined, so the impact on most teams will be minimal.
