João Pedro is one of the most popular players in the game and his price has risen again this gameweek. He scored 12 points against Bournemouth in Gameweek 6, then followed that up with a solid 2-point return in 89 minutes against Everton. Chelsea face Tottenham next, which is a difficult fixture, but things ease up after that with a run of average and easier games to come.
Tavernier is a differential worth considering after a strong Gameweek 7 showing. He picked up 10 points against Sunderland, helping Bournemouth to a clean sheet in the process. Prior to that, he managed just 3 combined points across his two previous outings. Bournemouth's next three fixtures include a difficult trip to face Manchester United, but they then host Leeds and travel to Ipswich, both of which look very favourable.
Virgil van Dijk's price has dropped this week after a mixed run of form. He kept a clean sheet and scored 8 points against Bournemouth in Gameweek 5, but then conceded three goals against Man City for zero points. He bounced back with 4 points in Liverpool's win at Brentford. Liverpool's upcoming schedule includes a difficult home game against Arsenal in Gameweek 9 and a tough visit from Manchester United in Gameweek 11, which may concern FPL managers.
Wissa has been disappointing in recent weeks and his price reflects that. He has scored just 3 points across his last three gameweeks, failing to register a goal or assist. He played the full 90 minutes in all three matches but could not make an impact. Newcastle's next three fixtures look average, though a difficult home game against Arsenal arrives in Gameweek 11.
Gibbs-White is carrying a muscular injury and has a 75% chance of playing. He did not start against Arsenal in Gameweek 7 and has returned just 4 points across his last three gameweeks. Before his injury concern, he played 90 minutes in both Gameweeks 5 and 6 without a goal or assist. Nott'm Forest do have an easy fixture against Ipswich coming up in Gameweek 8, but managers will want clarity on his fitness before committing.
These players have all dropped in price but are owned by fewer than 5% of FPL managers, so the impact on most squads will be minimal.
