Top Five Key Players for Fantasy Premier League 2025/26 Gameweek 35

FPL Headliner: Bruno Fernandes (LIV)

B. Fernandes notched his 19th assist of the season against Brentford and will be looking to match the record held by De Bruyne and Henry (20) when the Red Devils host rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford.

The Portuguese international ranks top among all players for chances created (30) and 'big chances' created (nine) over the last six Gameweeks.

As the image below from our Fix Heatmaps feature shows, he has also averaged 7.3 FPL points per game in home matches this season.

Man United have scored 10 goals over the last six Gameweeks, with only Forest (15) more prolific. The Red Devils rank seventh for shots (79) and 11th for xG (8.66).

Their visitors, Liverpool, have conceded seven goals over the same period and kept just one clean sheet. The Merseyside outfit rank 12th for shots in the box conceded (51) and 10th for xGC (8.77).

According to our Predicted Points & Stats tool, B.Fernandes is projected to score 5.6 points this Gameweek.

Top FPL Forward: Erling Haaland (eve)

Haaland has attempted 19 shots in the box over the last six Gameweeks, more than any other player.

The Norwegian international is also top for 'big chances' (seven) over that period, while only Watkins (3.69), Calvert-Lewin (3.61) and Beto (3.51) have registered a higher xG tally than his 3.24.

Man City have scored nine goals over the last six Gameweeks (fifth), while the Manchester side rank top for both shots (106) and xG (12.96).

Their visitors, Everton, have conceded eight goals over the same period (13th) and kept two clean sheets. The Toffees rank 15th for shots conceded (83) and 12th for xGC (9.16).

According to our Predicted Points & Stats tool, Haaland is projected to score 5.1 points this Gameweek.

Top Midfield Pick: Morgan Rogers (TOT)

Rogers has found the back of the net just once over the last six Gameweeks, but as shown in the image below from our Opta Stats Sandbox, the England international ranks third among midfielders for shots (16) over that period.

Only Cherki (17) and Gakpo (18) have attempted more. Rogers also ranks seventh for shots on target (five) and sixth for xG (2.31).

Villa have scored nine goals over the last six Gameweeks (fifth), while the Midlands side rank top for 'big chances' (20) and fourth for xG (11.23).

Their visitors, Spurs, have conceded 10 goals over the same period (15th) and kept just one clean sheet. The North London side rank seventh for shots conceded (68) and ninth for xGC (8.63).

Best Forward Pick: Igor Thiago (WHU)

Thiago has scored three goals over the last six Gameweeks, with only Beto (four) more prolific among forwards over that period.

Their visitors, West Ham, have conceded four goals over the same period (first) and kept three clean sheets. However, the Hammers rank 19th for shots conceded (94) and seventh for xGC (8.40).

Top Defensive Asset: Pascal Strujik (BUR)

Struijk has started every game for Leeds over the last six Gameweeks and has attempted six shots in the box during that period. No defender has attempted more shots in the box this season than the 26-year-old (28).

Leeds have conceded just four goals over the last six Gameweeks (first) and kept three clean sheets. The Yorkshire side rank sixth for shots conceded (65) and first for xGC (6.14).

Their visitors, Burnley, have scored just two goals over the last six Gameweeks, the fewest in the division. The Clarets rank 19th for both shots in the box (38) and xG (6.99).

The Leeds defender also made it into this week's Top 5 Differentials article, with his low ownership of just 3.0%.
