Top Five Key Players for Fantasy Premier League 2025/26 Gameweek 19

FPL Headliner: Hugo Ekitiké (LEE)

Ekitiké's assist against Wolves made it six FPL returns over the last four Gameweeks (four goals, two assists) for the French international, he has amassed 40 FPL points over that period which is more than any other player.

Meanwhile, as shown in the image below from our Opta Stats Sandbox, no player across all positions has attempted more than his 15 shots in the box over that time while only Calvert-Lewin (six) and Haaland (seven) have been presented with more 'big chances' than his five.

Liverpool have scored 12 goals over the last six Gameweeks (fifth), they are also ranked fifth for shots (88) and 10th for 'Expected Goals' (xG) (9.84) over that period.

Their visitors Leeds have conceded 10 goals over the same period (14th) and have not kept a clean sheet. The Promoted side are ranked 14th for shots in the box conceded (54) and ninth for 'Expected Goals Conceded' (xGC) (9.32).

Top FPL Forward: Erling Haaland (sun)

Despite blanking against Forest, Haaland still trails only Foden (six) and Calvert-Lewin (seven) for goals scored (five) over the last six Gameweeks.

Igor Jesus (18) is the only forward to have attempted more shots in the box than his 17, while only Calvert-Lewin (5.21) has accumulated more xG than his 4.31.

As shown in the image below from our Player Heatmaps feature, Haaland has averaged 8.0 FPL points per match in away games this season.

Man City have scored 19 goals over the last six Gameweeks which is more than any other side. The Cityzens are ranked third for both shots in the box (66) and xG (13.11).

Their hosts Sunderland have conceded just seven goals over the same period (third) and have kept two clean sheets. However, the Black Cats are ranked 19th for shots conceded (99) and 12th for xGC (9.67).

According to our Predicted Points & Stats tool, Haaland is projected to score 5.7 points this Gameweek.

Best Mid-Priced Midfielder: Matheus Cunha (WOL)

Cunha was unlucky to come away without any FPL returns against Newcastle. Over the last six Gameweeks the Brazilian international is top amongst midfielders for shots (28), while only Schade (six) has been afforded more 'big chances' than his five.

He is also third for xG (3.12) with only B.Fernandes (3.31) and Schade (3.62) faring better.

As the below image from our Transfer Analytics feature shows, he is currently the second-most transferred in player for Gameweek 19.

Man United have scored 13 goals over the last six Gameweeks with only Leeds, Aston Villa (14 each) and Man City (19) faring better. The Red Devils are ranked top for shots (108), shots on target (39) and xG (15.63).

Their visitors Wolves have conceded 12 goals over the aforementioned period (19th) and have not kept a clean sheet. The Midlands side are ranked 19th for shots in the box conceded (68) and 15th for xGC (11.21).

Best One-Week Punt: Anthony Gordon (bur)

Gordon got on the scoresheet in Gameweek 15 when Newcastle played Burnley and as the below image from our Match Centre feature shows, over the Magpies' last five league matches he is top amongst their players for goals (two), xG (2.7) and FPL assists (two) while he is second for shots on target (four) and attempted assists (seven).

Newcastle have scored 10 goals over the last six Gameweeks (seventh), the Magpies are ranked eighth for shots in the box (54) and ninth for xG (9.90).

Their hosts Burnley have conceded 10 goals over the same period (14th) and have kept just one clean sheet. The Clarets are ranked ninth for shots conceded (71) but as low as 16th for xGC (11.34).

Top Defensive Asset: Patrick Dorgu (WOL)

Dorgu played on the right-wing in Mbeumo's absence and followed up his assist in Gameweek 17 against Villa with a goal against Newcastle on Friday night.

He landed three shots on target in that game, more than any other Man United player.

Man United have conceded nine goals over the last six gameweeks (11th) and have kept just one clean sheet. The Red Devils are ranked 12th for shots conceded (75) and eighth for xGC (9.18).

Their visitors Wolves have scored just three goals over the last six Gameweeks, the fewest in the league. The Midlands side are ranked bottom for shots in the box (28), 'big chances' (seven) and xG (4.74).
