Last season, no player took more shots (130), created more 'big chances' (27), or had a higher Expected Goals (xG) total (46) than the 33-year-old.
As the below image from our Opta Player Heatmaps feature shows, he has averaged 8.1 FPL points per home game this season.

Their hosts Wolves conceded 69 goals in 2024/25 with only Leicester (80), Ipswich (82) and Southampton (86) being more porous. The Midlands side were ranked 12th for shots in the box conceded (333) and 14th for xGC (59.17).
Our Predicted Points & Stats tool currently projects a score of 5.1 for Haaland.
Mitoma's 2024/25 season was curtailed by injury with the Japanese international playing only 2607 minutes, despite this he was still Brighton's top scoring FPL asset with 145 FPL points.
As shown in the below image from our Opta Stats Sandbox, the 28-year-old was also top amongst the Seagulls for 'big chances' (20), xG (10.64) and 'big chances' created (seven), which highlights his importance to Hurzler's side.
Brighton were fifth for goals scored (66) last campaign with only Newcastle (68), Arsenal (69), Man. City (72) and Liverpool (86) more prolific. The Seagulls were ranked sixth for shots (533) and eighth for xG (66.16).

Wood ended the 2024/25 season as FPL's second highest scoring forward with 200 FPL points. The New Zealand international was top amongst Forest players for shots in the box (57), 'big chances' (27) and xG (15.02) by a considerable margin and should benefit from Forest's kind run of opening fixtures as shown in the below image from our Fixture Difficulty Ratings.
Forest defied their underlying numbers last season. The East Midlands side scored 58 goals (ninth) but were ranked 15th for shots in the box (203) and 15th for xG (51.42).
Their opponents Brentford conceded 57 goals (13th) and kept only eight clean sheets last season. Southampton (682) were the only side to allow their opponents more shots than the Bees (649).
Our Predicted Points & Stats tool currently projects a score of 4.8 for Wood.
Virgil racked up 143 FPL points last season with only Milenković (145), Alexander-Arnold (148) and Gvardiol (153) faring better amongst defenders. He was also ranked ninth for Defensive Contributions (DEFCON) which gives him an additional route to points this FPL season.
Liverpool conceded just 41 goals last season (second) and kept more clean sheets (14) than any other side. The Reds were also second for both shots in the box conceded (247) and xGC (43.29).
Their visitors Bournemouth scored 58 goals (ninth) but were ranked fourth for shots (580) and third for xG (73.61).
