Finding the best FPL differentials means looking beyond ownership and recent scores. An overlooked midfielder with encouraging underlying numbers or a defender offering several routes to points could make all the difference to your Fantasy Premier League team.
Our Gameweek 7 selections are all currently under 10% owned, combining predicted points, player stats and upcoming fixtures to identify five options worth considering.
The selection rules are simple:
Price: £6.5m | Ownership: 0.7% | Predicted points: 4.8
Backing a Spurs attacker might come as a surprise given their poor start, but Sávio’s underlying numbers deserve a closer look.
The 22-year-old Brazil international has managed just 10 FPL points, with no goals or assists across four appearances. However, he has supplied 11 attempted assists, while his 1.69 expected assists (xA) ranks 10th among midfielders in the Opta Stats Sandbox. Crucially, all nine players above him have played more minutes.

There is also some goal threat: seven of his eight shots have come from inside the box, with three efforts on target.
His overall involvement has generated 17.15 expected FPL points (xFPL), comfortably above his actual total. While that does not guarantee an imminent haul, it suggests his recent scores have not fully reflected his performances.

The fixtures strengthen the case. Spurs rank top of the Fixture Planner for attacking fixtures over the next three Gameweeks, facing Coventry (H), Chelsea (A) and Crystal Palace (H).
Two appealing home matches catch the eye, while even the Chelsea trip could offer opportunities. The Blues have conceded 13 goals — the joint-most in the league — and are yet to keep a clean sheet.
At just 0.7% ownership, Sávio offers a bold way to back a Spurs improvement before the wider FPL market takes notice.
Price: £6.9m | Ownership: 3.8% | Predicted points: 4.8
With Manchester City the form team in the league and Ipswich (H) up next, increasing your exposure to their attack looks an obvious move. Enzo Fernández offers a less popular route into that fixture.
The 25-year-old Argentina international has registered one goal and 16 FPL points in 353 minutes, but his appeal extends beyond his returns so far.
Many FPL managers will be searching for a Dominik Szoboszlai replacement after the Liverpool midfielder missed the weekend clash with City.
Although his injury does not appear to be a long-term concern, Liverpool now face a testing run against Brentford (A), Brighton (H) and Arsenal (H).

Enzo stands out as a potential replacement. In the Predicted Points & Stats tool, he ranks top among midfielders priced at £7.0m or below for projected points over the next three Gameweeks.
Following his major summer move, Fernández appears well placed for minutes as a favourite of manager Enzo Maresca. Rayan Cherki and Antoine Semenyo may offer higher ceilings, but both cost more and already exceed our 10% ownership limit.
City follow Ipswich with Aston Villa (A) and Brighton (H). For managers seeking an affordable differential from an in-form side, Enzo’s 4.8 predicted points for Gameweek 7 make him a strong contender.
Price: £6.1m | Ownership: 7.3% | Predicted points: 4.4
Marcus Tavernier looks one of the safer options in this shortlist, combining an attractive price with several routes to FPL points ahead of Sunderland (H).
The Bournemouth midfielder has scored three goals and collected 32 FPL points across six appearances, playing 499 minutes. His attacking involvement makes him an appealing option for managers seeking value in midfield.
As the image below from our Match Centre feature shows, Tavernier leads Bournemouth for goals (two) and shots on target (seven) over the last five matches.
His seven efforts on target also exceed every Sunderland player’s tally, underlining his threat ahead of their meeting.

Creativity strengthens the case. Over that same five-match spell, Tavernier has supplied nine attempted assists, with only Alex Scott (11) registering more for Bournemouth. He has also generated 1.1 xG, combining scoring opportunities with a regular supply of chances for his team-mates.
Tavernier has also earned eight bonus points and recorded 47 defensive contributions, adding to his appeal as a midfielder who can contribute in several areas.
At £6.1m and just 7.3% ownership, he offers a strong balance of form, value and fixture appeal, with 4.4 predicted points for Gameweek 7.
Price: £5.0m | Ownership: 0.6% | Predicted points: 4.3
Silva’s 13 points from six matches may not immediately catch the eye, but the Bournemouth defender’s underlying numbers suggest there is more to come.
He has played all 540 available minutes and recorded 61 defensive contributions, the joint-ninth-highest total among defenders. That workload has already delivered eight DEFCON points, with Silva reaching the threshold in four of his six appearances.
His attacking threat is particularly striking. All six of his shots have come inside the box, including three big chances, generating 1.50 expected goals (xG). That is the fourth-highest xG total among players yet to score this season, suggesting he has been unfortunate not to open his account.

Bournemouth have not kept a clean sheet in his six appearances, which partly explains his modest return. Nevertheless, 27.75 xFPL, compared with 13 actual points, highlights the gap between his underlying numbers and his rewards.
Next up is Sunderland (H). The visitors have scored just six goals, the fourth-fewest in the league, offering encouragement for a first clean sheet. With DEFCON returns and goal threat adding to his appeal, Silva is an intriguing option at just 0.6% ownership.
Price: £4.9m | Ownership: 6.3% | Predicted points: 4.2
Jan Paul van Hecke offers a different way to approach Spurs’ favourable schedule, with defensive contributions and attacking threat complementing his clean-sheet prospects.
The Dutch international has played 540 minutes across six matches, delivering 27 FPL points through one goal, two clean sheets and two bonus points. He has also accumulated 54 defensive contributions, picking up four DEFCON points giving him another potential route to returns when Spurs concede.
His threat in the opposition penalty area is encouraging. All five shots have come inside the box, and he has received three big chances, producing 0.91 xG. Five attempted assists add a little creativity, although his 0.10 xA suggests the goal threat is the more compelling attacking feature.

Spurs rank third in the Fixture Planner for defensive fixtures over the next three Gameweeks, with Coventry (H), Chelsea (A) and Crystal Palace (H) ahead. The two home matches are the main attraction, while DEFCON potential could prove useful during the tougher Chelsea assignment.
At £4.9m, Van Hecke combines a promising fixture run with several ways to score, making him a credible defensive differential for Gameweek 7.
Ownership, prices and predicted points are correct at the time of writing. Player statistics cover the six Gameweeks shown in the supplied data.
