Salah may have made a quiet start to the season, but his away form from last year is hard to ignore. No player attempted more shots in the box (119), recorded a higher expected goals (xG) tally (28.14), or was afforded more big chances (46) on the road.

Liverpool as a team were also dominant away from Anfield, scoring 44 goals – the most of any side. They led the league for shots in the box (243), big chances (87), and xG (49.69) in away fixtures.
Their upcoming opponents Burnley have struggled defensively, conceding six goals so far. Only West Ham and Wolves (eight each) have let in more. The Clarets also sit bottom for shots in the box conceded (38) and expected goals conceded (xGC) at 6.61.

Haaland scored 11 goals in home matches last season with only Wissa and Isak (12 each) more prolific on home turf. The Norwegian international was third for 'big chances' (18) and second for xG (11.52) amongst forwards in home games.

Man. City scored more goals at home (43) than any other side in 2024/25, while only Liverpool (41.49) recorded a higher xG than their 40.92
Their opponents Man. Utd. conceded 26 goals in away games last season (ninth) and only kept five clean sheets. The Red Devils were ranked 12th for xGC (30.27) in home matches.

Palace scored 24 goals in home matches last season (14th) but were ranked ninth for xG (34.81).
Their visitors Sunderland have conceded three goals (fifth) and have kept one clean sheet, the Black Cats are ranked second for shots in the box conceded (16) and fifth for xGC (3.22).
