According to the Transfer Analytics tool, Watkins has been brought in by over 400,000 managers — more than double the number of transfers for second-placed Eze (168,000).
Ollie Watkins is the most popular forward transfer heading into the final two gameweeks. He faces Tottenham at home and Manchester United away — two sides who may have one eye on their shared Europa League final, potentially making these favourable fixtures for Watkins.
With 11 points from his last three matches, including a goal and 3 bonus points, Watkins is delivering consistent returns. His xFPL of 10.8 backs this up.
Alexander Isak has scored twice and picked up 17 points in his last three appearances. However, upcoming fixtures against Arsenal and Everton have led to a wave of transfers out.
His xFPL of 20.91 suggests he’s been unlucky not to deliver even more, but many managers are turning to Watkins instead.
Chris Wood is gaining attention as a reliable forward at £7.2m. With West Ham and Chelsea up next, the Nottingham Forest striker has picked up 12 points from his last three matches and is on penalties — a solid pick for the run-in.
Omar Marmoush has scored just 5 points in his last three matches and is the most sold player this week, with over 400,000 transfers out. Despite decent fixtures against Bournemouth and Fulham, many managers are targeting players with more secure minutes — especially with Haaland now back for Man City.
Cunha has shown promising form, returning 17 points over his last three games and posting an xFPL of 13.39. With upcoming fixtures against Crystal Palace and Brentford, he remains a viable option.

However, his zero-point return last gameweek will have frustrated owners, and many are now turning to the in-demand Watkins instead.
