As shown in the image below, Estêvão tops the Custom Stats xFPL table for Gameweek 23 with a score of 10.5. The Brazilian international took three shots in the box, two of which were classified as 'big chances' and also created a 'big chance'.

Bowen recorded his first double-digit haul of the season with a goal and an assist. However, it’s worth noting that he converted his only shot in the box — a penalty — and his sole attempted assist was finished by Summerville. Both contributions were classified as a ‘big chance’ involvement, helping him to post a strong xFPL score of 10.2.
Evanilson continues to impress, scoring against Liverpool for his third goal in the last four Gameweeks. The 26-year-old took three shots in the box, two of which were classed as ‘big chances’, and also attempted two assists, resulting in an xFPL score of 10.0.
Rice was the most creative player of the Gameweek, registering four attempted assists. He also took three shots but failed to register a ‘big chance’ involvement, which limited him to a modest xFPL score of 3.6.
Justin and Mosquera were joint-top for shots in the box (four each). Both registered a ‘big chance’ involvement and returned solid xFPL scores of 7.6 and 6.2 respectively.
xFPL is calculated primarily using expected goals (xG) and expected assists (xA), which combine to form expected FPL involvements (xG + xA = xI), along with expected clean sheets (xCS). These values are based on underlying statistics — for example, shot type and location determine the probability of scoring, which contributes to xG. xFPL then combines these metrics, factoring in appearance and bonus points to produce an overall expected FPL point score.
As shown in the Transfer Analytics tool below, B.Fernandes is the most transferred-in player ahead of Gameweek 24, with over 450,000 FPL managers adding him to their teams at the time of writing.

Mbeumo has scored in consecutive games under Carrick and is the second most bought player, with over 350,000 transfers already.
Meanwhile, João Pedro and Enzo have also delivered FPL returns in the first two Premier League games under Rosenior and are popular acquisitions ahead of Chelsea's great run of fixtures.
Dorgu is the most bought defender after finding the back of the net in both of the last two matches but there are currently some doubts about his availability for Gameweek 24.
Foden, Ekitiké and Woltemade were all limited to brief cameo appearances off the bench, leading to heavy sales among FPL managers. Meanwhile, Bruno G. missed out entirely and is now a doubt for Gameweek 24, with close to 300,000 managers already moving him on.

As the above image from our top 10 midfield transfer combinations shows, Foden → B.Fernandes (23.4%) is the most popular midfield transfer for the second week running. Enzo, Mbeumo and Semenyo are the other popular picks with Bruno G., Saka and Cherki making way.
Looking at the top 10 forward transfer combinations, Ekitiké → João Pedro (29.8%) is the most popular by a distance with Thiago → João Pedro (9.6%) in second. The French international accounts for seven of the Top 10 forward transfer combinations with Woltemade and Calvert-Lewin rounding off the list. Kroupi.Jr, Evanilson, Watkins and Mané are the other popular forwards being bought.
Despite his clean sheet against Wolves, the top 10 defender transfer combinations shows that O'Reilly is the most sold defender with Dorgu and Chalobah coming in. Virgil, Van de Ven, Thiaw, Guéhi and Frimpong are the other defenders being sold with nine of the top 10 defender combinations involving one of Dorgu or Chalobah coming in.
With Thiago facing Villa, Newcastle and Arsenal next, FPL managers are looking for alternatives to the 24-year-old and both his Brazilian counterparts have shown promise over the last four Gameweeks.

As the above image from our Player Heatmaps feature shows, João Pedro and Evanilson have scored the same number of FPL points (23) over the last four Gameweeks but the former has done it in significantly fewer minutes (237 vs 318). The latter is expected to get more minutes going forward as well, given Chelsea's involvement in multiple competitions.

As the above numbers show, Evanilson is significantly ahead for goal threat with more shots (four vs 11), shots on target (two vs four) and shots in the box (four vs nine) which naturally lead to higher xG numbers for the latter (1.03 vs 2.56).
Neither player has notched an assist, but João Pedro does have an FPL assist for the penalty he won against Palace. He has only attempted one assist over the aforementioned period to Evanilson's four.
Given the security of gametime and stronger attacking numbers, Evanilson appears to be the better pick.
