Haaland’s 13 goals put him seven clear in the Golden Boot race — and his underlying numbers back it up. No player has taken more shots (43), hit more on target (25), been presented with more 'big chances' (21), or posted a higher Expected Goals (xG) tally (10.15) this season.
Manchester City remain the league’s top scorers with 20 goals. They also rank second for both shots in the box (102) and big chances created (33).
Their visitors, Liverpool, have conceded 14 goals (10th) and kept just three clean sheets. Defensively, the Merseyside side sit seventh for shots conceded (111) and 15th for Expected Goals Conceded (xGC) at 15.86.

According to our Predicted Points & Stats tool, Haaland is projected to score 6.7 points this Gameweek.
Mateta has been in outstanding form, scoring six goals — second only to Haaland (13). As shown in the image below from our Opta Stats Sandbox, the Frenchman ranks second among all players for shots on target (18), shots in the box (25), big chances (15), and Expected Goals (xG) at 8.06 this season.

Crystal Palace have scored 14 goals (ninth), but their underlying attacking numbers are even more impressive. No team has created more big chances (34), and they rank fifth for overall xG (18.87).
Their opponents, Brighton, have conceded 15 goals (13th) and kept just one clean sheet. The Seagulls are sixth for both shots conceded (109) and Expected Goals Conceded (xGC) at 13.18.
According to our Predicted Points & Stats tool, Mateta is projected to score 4.9 points this Gameweek.
Saka has scored just two goals this season, but his underlying stats suggest a big return could be close.
As shown in the image below from our Match Centre, over Arsenal’s last five league matches he ranks second among their players for goals (1), Expected Goals (xG) at 2.2, and attempted assists (10).

Arsenal have netted 18 goals — a tally bettered only by Manchester City (20). The Gunners lead the league for shots in the box (113) and sit third for xG (19.58).
Their hosts, Sunderland, have conceded only eight goals (second fewest) and kept four clean sheets. However, they rank as low as 15th for shots conceded (129), which suggests their defence may be overperforming.
According to our Predicted Points & Stats tool, Saka is projected to score 4.8 points this Gameweek.
