These picks cover every type of FPL manager — whether you prefer to play it safe with the crowd or chase early gains with a differential.
Haaland leads the Golden Boot race with 11 goals — five more than both Semenyo and Thiago (six each). The Norwegian tops every key attacking metric this season: most shots (37), shots in the box (36), shots on target (21), 'big chances' (18), and the highest xG (8.66).
Manchester City have scored 17 goals so far — the joint-most in the league — and rank fourth for both shots in the box (89) and xG (16.62).
Their visitors Bournemouth have conceded 11 goals (eighth-most) but have also kept four clean sheets. The Cherries are sixth for shots conceded (99) and seventh for expected goals conceded (xGC, 11.58).

According to our Predicted Points & Stats tool, Haaland is projected to score 6.5 points this Gameweek.
Salah got back on the scoresheet with a well taken goal against Brentford, despite a poor season the Egyptian's underlying numbers have been improving.
As shown in the image below from our Opta Stats Sandbox, over the last six Gameweeks, he has only found the back of the net twice but is top amongst midfielders for shots in the box (14), 'big chances' (six) and xG (3.56).

Liverpool have scored 16 goals with only Spurs, Man City and Chelsea (17 each) more prolific. The Merseyside outfit are ranked top for shots (140) and second for xG (18.60).
Their opponents Villa have conceded eight goals (fifth) and have kept three clean sheets. The Villains are ranked 14th for shots conceded (109) and eighth for xGC (12.43).
According to our Predicted Points & Stats tool, Salah is projected to score 5.6 points this Gameweek.
Mateta's total of five goals is third amongst forwards, but the French international's underlying numbers have been incredible.
As shown in the image below from our Opta Stats Sandbox, the French international is second amongst all players for shots (29), shots in the box (23), shots on target (16), 'big chances' (15) and xG (7.95).

Palace have scored 12 goals (10th) but largely have wasteful finishing to blame as they have been getting plenty of chances. No team has created more 'big chances' (33) than the Eagles, while only Liverpool (18.60) and Man United (19.36) have racked up a higher xG tally than their 17.81.
Their visitors Brentford have conceded 14 goals (11th) and have kept just two clean sheets. The Bees are ranked 17th for shots conceded (120) and 12th for xGC (14.20).
According to our Predicted Points & Stats tool, Mateta is projected to score 5.0 points this Gameweek.
