FPL 2025/26 Player Price Announcements: The First Reveals

Fantasy Premier League (FPL) has kicked off the 2025/26 season with the first batch of player prices, unveiled today, Sunday 20th July.

Last season, the first player prices were revealed on Thursday 11th July 2024, with the game launching a week later on Thursday 18th July. This year, it’s likely that FPL will go live on either Monday 21st or Tuesday 22nd July 2025.

Below is a breakdown of the initial players released!

Alexander Isak - £10.5m

Newcastle’s top scorer from the 2024/25 season, Isak has received a price increase to £10.5m.

This is a substantial rise from last season’s starting price of £8.5m, reflecting his 23 goals and 6 assists, which helped him rack up 211 FPL points and become the top-scoring forward.

Isak predicted price for FPL 2025/26

Our Preseason Pack, available for just £1, correctly predicted his price rise, giving FPL managers an early edge in planning.

Is Isak worth the jump in price? It’s a tough decision, but with his impressive 2024/25 season and a rumoured move to Liverpool, he could be a key asset in your team this season.

Jordan Pickford - £5.5m

Next up is Everton’s Jordan Pickford, priced at £5.5m.

Goalkeepers ranked by clean sheets in the 2024/25 season

While some managers may consider this to be on the expensive side, Pickford was the highest-scoring goalkeeper last season with 158 points, keeping 12 clean sheets, as shown in the Opta Stats Sandbox tool. Although other goalkeepers, like Sels and Raya, kept 13 clean sheets, Pickford’s consistent returns and reliability make him an option worth considering between the sticks.

Aït-Nouri - £6.0m

Manchester City’s new £31 million signing, Aït-Nouri, is priced at £6.0m.

The left-back had an impressive season with Wolves in 2024/25, netting 4 goals and 7 assists, earning 125 FPL points.

With Manchester City’s solid defence and his attacking potential, Aït-Nouri could prove to be a solid option for those seeking defensive coverage with a good attacking threat.

Florian Wirtz - £8.5m

Liverpool’s £100 million signing, Florian Wirtz, is one of the most exciting reveals of the day.

Coming in at £8.5m, Wirtz brings his impressive Bundesliga form with him, having scored 10 goals and registered 12 assists in 31 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen last season.

With his ability to contribute both in goals and assists, he’s likely to be a popular choice among FPL managers looking to strengthen their midfield.
