We are excited to announce we have partnered with FantasyFootball247, where they bring their FPL expertise and knowledge to The Community section of fantasyfootballfix.com. Here is a short word from them to tell you what’s to come…
FantasyFootball247 is a traditional FPL help site with two predominant aims – firstly to assist, advise and navigate FPL managers through the rigours of each game-week and ultimately the season and secondly to have fun. It is an interactive site that encourages involvement from the reader in terms of comments, help, advice, banter and fun with all participants. A relatively new site, FF247 is just a year old this November, though its owners and team of writers are experienced FPL players and bring with them a wealth of knowledge, wisdom and expertise and are veterans as such from an old FPL site!
Leading up to the game-week action, the site runs a set of core articles:
- The Fixtures article takes an extensive look at those teams who have either an attractive looking or indeed tough looking set of up and coming fixtures.
- Next up is the Captains article where we take the reader through the best options for the armband in the forthcoming game-week.
- The Tips article follows, where out Tipster will look at those players worth owning in each position - not only the expensive players from the top clubs but also budget options that may have been ignored by the casual observer.
- Friday sees our game-week Preview, or 'TeamTalk 'as we call it, where all the manager’s press conferences are reviewed and team and injury news is relayed to the site.
- Late Friday sees the publication of the FF247 team. The thinking, team selection and rationale behind the team has proved useful and helpful for the readers of the site. That the team is run by a committee of FPL 'pros' who boast between them some fantastic FPL rankings helps, as does the fact that the team is doing pretty well so far!
- Once the game-week deadline bell has rung, Live Match Chat gives the readers the opportunity to discuss the matches live, as they happen and the impact to each person’s FPL side. This usually descends into people just chatting about whatever comes to mind but hey that's the fun side!
As well as these core articles, other ad hoc articles are also published, such as player reviews, interviews with FPL managers and wildcard advice.
A huge part of the site, as we have alluded to above, is the fun element. Each week there is at least one free predictions competition run on-site, where participants can win a whole range of prizes, the biggest of all however is site bragging rights.
FF247 doesn’t just concentrate on the Premier League – we also maintain coverage on MLS, World Cup, Champions League, cricket…and now, even NFL! Basically we are a site that just loves our sport and enjoys talking about it with like-minded people.
Bottom line, FF247 is a community site, built for the people, where friends are made and sport (obviously mainly FPL) is discussed 24/7.
We are delighted to be partnering up with fantasyfootballfix.com, where we will bring our expertise to fantasyfootballfix.com in the form of a weekly blog. The blog will be quite straightforward but at the same time we expect it to be both interesting and extremely beneficial to the reader. Quite simply we will look at the big issues in any given game-week, so that might be an injury to a key player or maybe the form of a given player or team. In essence the content of the blog will be driven by what is happening in the FPL world.
