You haven’t made your weekly transfers yet? Who shall I draft in, who is going to give me the greatest returns for this gameweek? Want to know? Then read on here.
This weekly article will trawl through the 11 best players for the upcoming gameweek following Fantasy Premier League rules, so that’s a valid formation and no more than 3 players from a single team. We will also reveal who the Fantasy football Fix captain choice of the week is using out unique algorithm to help you either follow the masses or go your own way and select someone who is just a little out of the box. Gameweek 29’s team lines up like this.
Pantilimon
Projection 5.7 points
Home to a shot shy Aston Villa side the big Romanian is the number 1 choice between the sticks this week. At 4.6m that is some great value. 2 clean sheets in 6 shows decent form and the match at the stadium of light will be a tight affair.
Van Aanholt
Projection 5.1 points
Despite the full backs lack of assured starts the defender comes out well this week in our predictions. A recent run in the side gives hope and a late assist last time out against Hull will hopefully keep PVA in the side.
Ivanovic
Projection 5.1 points
The crème de la crème of defenders and with Chelsea having a home game at the Bridge this week there will many drafting in Chelsea defensive cover for this one. With the Saints coming unstuck against some of the big boys earlier in the season there’s a good chance of yet another shut out and with Ivanovic you know he has an eye for goal.
Terry
Projection 5.0 points
Much like his counterpart Ivanovic, Terry has been a constant mainstay of the Chelsea backline and despite being very good at playing away Terry is also very good at playing at home. A threat from corners and more career goals than Barcelona’s Iniesta he’s one you should keep your eye on.
Revelliere
Projection 5.0 points
Three defenders out of five Sunderland defenders, do we know something you don’t? Well Revelliere has been in good form in recent weeks and returned 2 assists in six recent gameweeks. With only 0.3% ownership he’s definitely not the most fashionable pick but with Villa in town he should be able to keep up that regular points scoring.
Sanchez
Projection 7.9 points – Captains pick
This guy just won’t stay still for a minute will he? After giving Antonio Valencia nightmares in midweek and with Jenkinson unavailable due to the terms of his loan Sanchez will be facing an unfamiliar right back this week and will no doubt show him every blade of the Upton Park pitch.
Silva
Projection 6.7 points
The little Spanish magician has been in great form in recent weeks and the Champions arrive at Turf Moor looking to build on an unconvincing win at home to Leicester. With Aguero up top and Yaya Toure providing the support behind the frontmen pulling all the strings.
Cazorla
Projection 6.7 points
Next up we have another Spaniard in our weekly picks. Santi Cazorla is another man in great form at the moment and although some of his points hauls have been down to spot kicks he is definitely enjoying his football at the moment and certainly knows how to pick a pass or finish off a passing move.
Ozil
Projection 6.4 points
The almost forgotten man at the Emirates which is staggering considering the adjulation he received when he signed. The German over recent weeks has been exceptional scoring 47 points in his 6 outings that includes 3 double digit scores. At 9.1m he’s not cheap but those of you burned by Walcott over recent weeks could do worse than look sideways at the German.
Puncheon
Projection 5.6 points
The new regime down at Selhurst Park has certainly done wonders there and there’s no greater recipient of that than Jason Puncheon. Queens Park Rangers are the visitors and with their away record of only 1 away win all season it looks like full steam ahead for the Pardew train.
Aguero
Projection 6.4 points
I think this article and Sergio Aguero are going to become very used to seeing each other. In my own opinion he’s the best striker in the league, Burnley will not have come up against a player of his quality before apart from the game at the Etihad. With Silva and the like laying on the chances I believe Aguero will be the most captained player this week. He just oozes class.13.0m? You’ve just gotta have him whatever the price.
Some big names left out this week including the likes of Kane, Rooney, Costa and Hazard but im sure they will feature soon. Will you follow the algorithm and captain Sanchez? Will you transfer a player in from this team? Do you not believe in the statistical side of the game and its pure instinct that leads the path to success? Comment below and share your thoughts!`
